So We just moved to this area. I go to goodwill like 2x a week but was looking for another good thrift store. I came across this one online. The reviews seemed good so I checked it out. The store is really nice and has a lot of unique finds, however I’ve had bad customer service almost every time I’ve came in. The first time I came in it was about 1/2 hr till closing yet the girl at the counter proceeded to talk to the person she was ringing up “ugh I don’t know why people come in late when we’re about to close”. I thought this was very rude and I knew I had a half hr to browse. Another time I came in with my boyfriend bc I bragged about their sports section and figured he could find some cool things for his man cave. But, when we entered (never greeted with a hello) just stares. I stopped to look at rings and he went to sports section. Then I overheard yet again, this time 2 Caucasian women talking about how they’ve been having a lot of thefts lately, especially in the sports section. They said “yea one person distracts and the other person steals.” I felt that my boyfriend and I were being racially profiled and accused of potentially stealing something (yes we’re black)! I didn’t want to upset my boyfriend as he found something he liked so we bought it. However, the customer service at the spot is disgusting! After going to this location for the past few years, and having nothing but great experiences with the vendors, especially the crystal lady in the back, I’ve finally decided it’s time to mention the one part that’s always been lack luster: the gray haired lady that works in the front. She’s always rude, arrogant, and dismissive, that is till she sees that you’re spending money then her tune magically changes. I’m not sure if she’s the owner, being that she’s always there, and if so that’s incredibly upsetting, because her attitude is just absolutely atrocious. After waiting 5 minutes in front of Robin while she was on her phone i said excuse me and she said oh i didn’t see you…when i said i was interested in getting a booth she asked what i sold i said alittle bit of everything she made a face when i said glass figures and lamps she said glass doesn’t sell well here.. a to discourage me!! when i thanked her and asked her name she said Robin and i am the manager!!!!
