I went to Kingy's for the first time on March 4 and wish now that I never did. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich and received the worse food poisoning ever. I started feeling sick shortly after I ate there. I ended up going to ER and they had to do IV and same night was rushed to the hospital by paramedics again for another IV. I contacted the owner and spoke to Burt. Obviously carrying about customer service is the last thing he cares. He was very rude and unprofessional on the phone. He blamed everything on Tyson chicken. His respond was for me to send him hospital report and if other people will complaint then he will notify Tyson that there is something wrong with their chicken. In his eyes it is impossible for his cooks to screw anything up and send out undercook chicken. His response was that they always cook their frozen chicken 12 minutes exactly. Even according to Tyson site – it should be cooked 10-15 minutes or more until meat reaches 170 degree inside not 12 minutes exactly. Now I understand where his staff gets their attitude towards the customers, when we walked in – half of the staff was sitting at the table texting and playing on their cell phones. I am just glad my kids did not order the same food and I will make sure that my friends and family stay away from this restaurant.

I find it amazing that everyone that ever wrote negative review on this site received a comment from the owner, who had tried to turned it by stating that it was misunderstanding or customer did something wrong. Obviously the restaurant never does anything wrong - they are perfect. Maybe they should take responsibility for their mistakes sometimes instead of blaming it on everybody else.

As you can see response to my post was posted by someone else other than the owner. When I called the owner never showed any compassion or even once said he was sorry to hear that. The only words out of his mouth were that it could not possibly be them and had to be Tyson chicken. The fact that cook possibly did something wrong is not a possibility because restaurant and the owner are perfect. Everyone is a human being and everyone makes a mistake a simple sorry would of been nice. Owner right away started raising his voice and accused me of lying and demanding that I provide my medical history records to him so he can wait and see if anyone else to report the problem so he can blame Tyson chicken. And my comment about waitresses showing that neither the owner or his staff cares about their customers. But once again this restaurant can do no wrong and it is customer who is at fault and being rude and threatening.

And according the the government site - food poisoning can start within an hour or more or even shorter because it depends on the individual. I have never stated that I had it as soon as I finished the meal. My comment exactly was that the food did not taste right. But once again - no truth can ever be told by...

We have ordered from Kingy's for seven years. Lately, the drive thru orders have had problems. With this economy ordering out is a treat and we just want to get what we paid for. We ordered 2 large pizzas tonight. One was correct. The second looked like an afterthought. We ordered pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers. Half the pie had maybe 9 slithers of banana peppers and most of the pie had no pepperoni. The only consistent part was sausage. We called and spoke to the owner, Bert, who insinuated we were problem customers and told us to find another pizzeria establishment from now own!!! Wow! Great customer service! Could not just give a small credit back for what should have been on our pizza. He was verbalizing about another Brewer apparently who had a BLT pizza and had issues with and assumed we were the same. The issues in OUR past have been pizza burnt and another order was not made and we had to come back for it 25 minutes later. They gave us credit for that order and a free one for next time, which was great. Apparently to Bert, WE are the problem because we won't accept what we did not order. I guess Bert is having a bad day. HE should apologize. Until then we will not be patron's of Kingy's anymore,...

We live down the road so we have kingys often...pizza is really good as well as a few other items. What kind of made us giggle was that we had asked if we could do a grill cheese for my daughter. Answer was yes. It ended up being 2 pieces of frozen Texas toast you buy in a box with already shredded cheese on it and slapped together....We did call but was not offered a solution just that that’s the way it would come. Not too much of A big deal but myself working in the industry with fresh ingredients this was funny to me. They could of at least used a sub bun or a hamburger bun... 🤦‍♀️ We then asked for a half order of wings (which says they can do) said it had to be all drums (extra $1) and they couldn’t toss in the sauce...why? I have no idea. It would be the same as tossing a whole order right? We then asked yet another time if we could sub out chips for fries and was told yes. Looked at the receipt, yet we were charged for all 3 orders. Almost $4 a piece. The food is good to an extent but honestly, I think the quality could be a little better. Maybe some made in house items...sauces? There isn’t much else around. Hopefully our next experience will be better than the last 2. Willing to...

Disappointing. Out of Yuengling on tap 7pm on Friday. Inside dark and outdated. If you like your food tasteless with a side of sugar. This place is for you. Meatball hoagie, sweet can tomato sauce with sugar. No oregano, no basil or pepper flakes. Generic frozen bag meatball not simmered in sauce. Sauce just on the bun with dry meatballs. Ribs are tender fall off the bone but the BBQ sauce on them tastes like ketchup, sugar and vinegar. Again no taste but sugar. No substitution on rib dinner. Comes with fries and GFS coleslaw add the sugar. No baked potatoes or vegetables available. The sugar coats your teeth so much it feels like you need a dentist appointment. Fries are the only thing I had that didn't get drowned in sugar. Wait staff need trays. Fingers and hair in food while carry plates. Drinks and other items tucked under arms after handling credit cards and money. Its a NO for us. The drive out of the way wasn't worth it.

I probably passed this place over 100 times over the years heading to my grandpa's farm and didn't start coming here until about a year ago. Big mistake! This place has the best pizza I've ever had, the best Reuben I've ever had, the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had, and the best ribs I've had in Ohio. I literally eat out every single night and drive 30 min from Columbus to eat here almost once a week, and I'm not exaggerating when I say those things. I've only had to wait to be seated once for about minutes and probably 98% of the wait staff is friendly and prompt. I even had one waitress remember exactly what I wanted to eat and drink from the last time she had me, and she only waited on me once before. Needless to say I was impressed!

Ate here last night and the food was incredible! Complimentary basket of popcorn, sitting on your table when you arrive, is an awesome touch. Who doesn't like free popcorn? Service was quick, despite it being fairly crowded for a Sunday night, we got our orders promptly. Everyone's food tasted awesome, not sure there's a bad thing on the menu. Waitress was efficient, they were well staffed, and taking care of everyone quickly. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice patrons and general atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable and worth every penny. Great little pub, that I will definitely return too!
