Updated-4/17 Put an order online at 7:36pm order was due to be ready at 8pm. When I entered the restaurant at 8:01pm there was no one there but the workers and the guy was sitting at the counter with his feet up scrolling on his phone.I let the gentleman at the counter know I had an online order he said it would be 5 minutes. I said ok and had a seat. As soon as I sat down they had back to back orders and about 15 minutes had went by. I went back to the counter to let ask the gentleman how long on my order he says 2 minutes. At that point orders started being pushed out and I noticed none of them were mine. So the gentleman from the back finally comes out after I asked what was going on with my order because at this point it has been almost an hour since my order was placed and almost 30 minutes since I had been waiting. I asked for a refund he stated that if I just waited a few minutes he would have it out. I didn’t want to wait anymore he said something t that sounded like online refund would be refunded online. I waited til he finished with the customer he was serving and asked how many day it would take. He stated he didn’t know he doesn’t know how online works. There was definitely a language issue because another customer asked for lemonade and the initial work stated that it would be out soon. When the customer inquired about the lemonade to Second Gentleman he stated that the first guy didn’t understand and that they were out.
Original I tried the America's Best in JANAF and had an horrible experience and wrote them all off. My co-worker encouraged me to try this one and the wings did not disappoint. There are several things that can be better but the restaurant is clean and the food is ok. My two issues are the wings are stated to include celery but it never does and when I request it still no celery (I like celery). The other is prompting for tips. I usually ignore it when I call and they place me on hold for a few minutes to answer another phone call, or laugh and have side conversations in a different language while I’m on the phone, or my food is old and gummy, or I’m waiting in the lobby for 15min after ordering 20 min before arriving. I’ve ignored it all because I still liked their food. However, last night I ordered a nuclear 10pc combo for myself and a buffalo wrap combo for my wife. I asked three times to make sure the buffalo sauce was mild in the wrap (twice on the phone and once before I paid) as my wife can’t handle much heat. My order was perfect but my wife could not eat hers because the buffalo sauce in her wrap was just as hot as my nuclear sauce. They had already closed by the time we noticed it and couldn’t go back. Being frustrated because I asked them multiple times to make it mild (they have made the wrap too hot before but I didn’t make a fuss the first time, which is why I told them before hand the second time). I called today and told them what happened and the gentleman said “I wasn’t working last night, sorry.” Okay…but I still have all the food, she could not eat it, I just want it remade, and he replied “the order has to be fixed on the same day.” I’m very disappointed because I frequent this location. Read moreI recently visited America's Best Deli and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I encountered a cashier whose demeanor was far from welcoming; their attitude was notably rude, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit.
Furthermore, the service was disappointingly slow, resulting in a significant delay in receiving my order. To exacerbate matters, when I attempted to make a reasonable adjustment to my order, I was met with unnecessary argumentation and resistance from the staff.
Regrettably, even when the issue was brought to their attention, the establishment failed to offer appropriate compensation or remedy for the inconvenience caused.
In summary, the combination of rude service, delayed food, and inadequate resolution to customer concerns makes it difficult for me to recommend America's Best Deli to others. I sincerely hope that the management takes steps to address these issues to improve the overall customer experience...
