Let me preface this with I am a retired Army guy, been around the world and stayed/slept in some pretty bad places. I honestly thought about sleeping in my car! My story.... Check in at midnight after flying all day. Get my keys and am told 2nd floor facing the next door Chucky Cheese. No close parking so walk a half a parking lot with my bags and go upstairs. No elevator, all outside room access. Open the door and am assaulted by a terrible odor from the room. Body sweat, mustiness. Took my breath away. Hot. Face plate for the AC unit partially fallen off. Just looking at the room, I didn't even want to take my shoes off. Furniture was complete garbage, Wouldn't sell it at a yard sale or donate it. Scratched, handles broken off of drawers, stains on the chair seat at the desk. Some type of "liquid" splashed on the walls. Mattress about 4 inches thick and no support. Bright, shiny new looking comforter. Lamp shades had plastic coverings on them. No USB ports or any type of connectivity outlets and switches almost black from use and not cleaned. Bathroom sink, no drain stop, mold under the handle. Coffee pot basket has never been cleaned. Microwave smudged and dirty. Didn't want to touch it. Mini fridge was cold, no trash in it. Bathroom floor, sticky. Left over fecal matter in the toilet. Bathtub/shower, mold under the rim of the shower and mold inside the handle. Good pressure and hot. Small space to hang clothes, 4 hangers from 1967, didn't use. Holder for an iron, no iron and had so much crap in it, the dust had solidified. The good: hot water, clean sheets and after about 12 hours the smell dissipated a little and got cold in the room. Functional cable TV with about 30 channels. The place needs to be lit on fire and started from scratch, no exaggeration. Would not...

Read moreWould give zero starts if I could. I am a traveling nurse so I've stayed in quite a few hotels and recently within the last few months have had the unfortunate experience of having to stay here and it was by far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER especially the white guy who works the early morning shift - argumentative and extremely rude; he was the main one blaming others for his inadequacy for not knowing his job, purposely made me wait longer than usual for resolving whatever the issue was...definitely should not be working in customer service industry obviously mad at the world b/c he cannot get a real job. I've checked in at different times during the day so I've interacted with several of the workers while checking in at the front desk and each one blames the other for the discrepancies and "misinformed" information I've been giving regarding why I'm being overcharged, etc. Very unprofessional how they speak of one another. I've gotten the manager's number but when ever I call she's NEVER available or on the property; was told she just "stops by..comes and goes". Dirty rooms - stains all over the bathroom wall, ceiling looks like blood or rust, carpet damp, funny smell in the room, etc; not enough parking space for single bed rooms. Was told by afternoon clerk (a girl), if I wanted to stay over just come and pay for another day; however, when went to renew was told (by the rude white guy of course) my room had been reserved even though they had many empty rooms available and the list goes on. if the no other hotel is available or reasonably priced and the choice you have is to either sleep in your car or stay here, you'll be much better off sleeping...
