So this chick-fil-a is about 5 mins from where I work. It's usually an easy, fairly quick option for my 30 min lunch break. Not today! I go through the drive thru and order a 30 count grilled nugget meal. The employee says back "30 count nugget" and I politely corrected her and said "grilled, not fried". I go through the line like normal and get my food. As I'm leaving the parking lot, I happen to look at my receipt that says "30 count nugget". So I check the bag and sure enough, there's a fried 30 count. So I park, go inside with just the receipt and politely explain that I didn't get what I ordered and that the drive thru worker put my order in wrong. I'm told that I need to go get the food from my car even though they can see on the receipt that I just bought it not even 5 mins ago but whatever. I go get the food from my car. When I get back inside, I'm told that the grilled nuggets are more expensive so I have to pay the difference which was $3 and some change. So even though YOUR employee put my order in wrong, I'M the one who has to pay the consequences?? So I pay the $3, almost $4 difference. The employee then tells me that she'll take the food that was wrong. I told her I'd be keeping it since I paid for it. She whispers to her "director" (who is not even 2 feet from me) what I said. Her "director" then tells her to tell me that I can't do that. So even though I paid for the original WRONG order, paid EXTRA for THEIR mistake to be corrected and then get the original food that I paid for taken just to get thrown away?? I used to work at chick fil a years ago when they actually valued customer service which clearly they do not anymore. I was offered no apology or any type of compensation whatsoever. I never leave bad reviews. I'd expect this from McDonald's or any other fast food place but not chick fil a. Not sure that I'll be coming back to this location...

I received a notification that my meal was completed and awaiting pickup. I made my way to the counter and stood there for about 3 minutes. I counted at least 5 employees behing the counter that that took notice of me and continue ignoring me during the 3 to 4 minutes wait. While still standing there another gentleman walks in and immediately within the first 5 - 10 seconds gets attended and receives his food. Confused but decided to ignore it, I decided to stand right next to him to receive service next, the young lady immediately walks away to the cash register without even acknowledging me.
Confused while feeling disrespected I decided to look behind the counter, to see if my food was there. Turns out my bag of food with the beverage has been sitting there since the moment I walked in. I decided to walk around and grab my meal and walk out.
I didnt want to make any assumptions that I was being stereotype, but then I had another interaction about 10 minutes later.
I noticed they forgot my chicken egg & cheese biscuit. So I reported a missing item on the app and received a reward for it, but I still decided to go back and buy another chicken egg & cheese biscuit. When I pulled up to the drive through, a lady asked me for the name to my order and I responded "Luis (loo·ees)" the lady responded, "oh Lewis (loo·uhs)" I quickly responded, back and repeated myself saying, "it's Luis (loo·ees)" she quickly ignored me and walked back inside.
Not sure why all that happened to me within that time span, but hopefully they can get a hold of the employees and express the importance of respect to all individuals.
God bless and no worries I just wanted to put this out there for the store to keep their employees from continuing this type of behavior...
Read moreLet me just say that I think the awfulness of this chickfila is an exception. I've never had such horrible experiences at other chickfilas. I am basing this review off of 3 different mishaps at this chickfila. The first one involved food contamination, 2 wrong orders, and the manager refunding my money to someone else's credit card. The second incident happened a few days later. My grandmother stopped here in order to bring me some lunch to my work. I asked her to just pick up some nuggets. The man behind the counter told her the only nuggets they had were grilled ones!!! So I had to eat grilled nuggets because someone was too lazy to fry some. The third incident was this morning. I went in the store with a "breakfast treat" coupon. I asked if I could swap out the chicken biscuit for some minis because I'm not a big fan of chicken biscuits. The girl told me no I could only get what was on the coupon. I said "that's weird because I've always been able to do it before." So she asked her manager who said the same thing. "We can't do any swaps." I was like that's ridiculous. In the 11 years that I've been eating at chickfila I've never had any problems getting them to swap out something for me. In the 3 years that I WORKED for chick-fil-a I always swapped out customer coupons WITH MANAGER APPROVAL in order to make the customers happy. Because people are always gonna not like something. They shouldn't be forced to miss out because they have different taste. Its called customer service. This chickfila should look into the definition of that word cause they lost a customer in me and I'll make sure my family and friends are not visiting them either. Lynnhaven may be a bit farther to drive but its worth it to actually get some decent food and customer service. I will never be...
