This location NEVER ACCEPTS THE DQ APP. They stood there like fools, passing around my phone around with their dirty hands in flu season...just so the annoying manager woman can come over and tell me how they can't accept the app. She tells me I have to supposedly drive around and re order it through my phone. Let me tell you all something, I have no problems at any other local Dairy Queen accepting my app and scanning it. I frequently get rewards based on purchases at the DQ at Landstown Commons. That location has hot food, too. So my child's ice cream cone was right there, in plain sight and she had to be petty any refuse to use the app reward (which was any size cone, their large cone is almost $5, so this was a reward I obviously wanted to use!!). What happened to ice cream then? Did they throw it away in the trash?? I am done with their dumb ways here. Dairy Queen isn't even actual ice cream, it's just a mix and who knows what else in it. So I wouldn't go to the General Booth location if I could not use my app points and rewards. They are too overpriced otherwise. I really felt the woman manager with the brunette hair should have just given me the dang cone and figured out the app issues on her own time, because it had nothing to do with me, my kid or our perfectly functioning app. Poor customer service, mediocre ice cream.. nope. Read moreThis is a walk up location. The cashier did not ring up order correctly even after me repeating order at the end. One of the first cones made sat from the time it was ordered until payment was received. This led to it starting to melt. It took awhile to get our complete order. There were others that ordered before us and didn’t receive their order until after us. I’m not sure why because they had like 15 people working. Not one blizzard was handed flipped. One was half melted when we received it. Another blizzard was ordered with X2 the amount of toppings and had less the regular. This was my last straw. I asked to speak to the manager in charge. I spoke with a younger employee, even though there were at least three others wearing managers shirts. I let them know my disappointment from the beginning and how poorly the shift was being ran by pointing out the order the items were coming out. Of course not much care but they did remake the blizzard quickly, the reason for the 2 star. There were multiple other unsatisfied customers while we were there. Read moreWe were vacationing in the area and wanted to stop in to grab some ice cream before going back to our condo. We knew it closed at 10pm and we were in line to grab 2 ice cream cones by 9:45pm. The kid working the drive-thru was extremely rude. He loudly complained to his co-workers right in front is us about how 3 cars (ours included) just pulled up right before they closed, all while our ice cream cones were sitting inside and melting. When we got our ice cream, I was charged for one extra cone somehow and I guess that really annoyed him. Someone else came to process my refund. I work as a server and have had people come into the restaurant 5 minutes before close and I’ve still had to serve them. We pulled in 15 minutes before the store closed and got 2 items to-go from the drive-thru. If he is going to complain about customers, at least do it out of earshot.
