Beach Vodka — Local services in Virginia Beach

Tried to go there for the first time this evening. Online says they’re open till 8. We arrive right before 7, the open sign is off, entrance door is unlocked but hours of operation say till 8. We walk inside and a guest at a table asks if “we’re here for the party.” I guess the place was closed for a private function/party but nothing was posted. I work in a restaurant and we put up notices if patio seating is unavailable, closing early for X reason or any other Y reason so anyone about to come in has a chance to read a notice explaining a situation. This place did no such thing. My first impression is that the business has poor communications with the public at least on private functions/when they’re closed...

Slow night right before closing, Thanks Ashley, we were definitely entertained and you did a great job and we had great conversation. Espresso Martini=9 out of 10, Orange Pineapple crush = 9, bloody mary (crabby mary) = 9.5, Very lively spot with great decor and merchandise to buy. Ashley is fantastic, hope to see you again. Being a distillery, they have to follow strict ABC rules, nevertheless, nice menu of cocktails, the drinks were great, will definitely be back to try others. I have been waiting for this place to open. We love Chesapeake Distillery but this is closer to our house so I was super excited. The inside is beautiful and they are extremely friendly (2 stars there) BUT their cocktails are awful!! (A big zero stars there). Honestly the worst we have had in ages. If you like club soda with a shot of vodka with some chopped fruit or a squeeze of lemon/orange then you will love it. The cocktails in no way showcased their product or really any creativity.
