Red Wing Park offers a pleasant and family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for visitors of all ages. The park’s well-maintained grounds provide excellent opportunities for photography, with scenic backdrops that yielded beautiful smartphone pictures during our visit. Amenities such as the playgrounds and picnic areas are well-kept and enhance the overall experience, catering to families looking for outdoor recreation. The park’s layout encourages relaxation and leisure, with ample space for children to play and adults to unwind. **Final Verdict:** A great choice for families and casual visitors seeking a clean, accessible, and visually appealing outdoor setting. Recommended for picnics, light recreation, and casual photography.

I was at Red Wing Park for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival 🌸. It was a fantastic event! I loved the performances and enjoyed how they ensured the little ones and the young at heart 😄 were incorporated. The trees were lovely...especially when the wind was blowing and the blossoms were floating to the ground [reminiscent of snowfall]. I was extremely dismayed to see some people being SO disrespectful of the trees by pulling on the branches and climbing them. 😠 Can't wait for next year.

I Loved it. What a wonderful place. The City of Virginia Beach does a wonderful job of providing these refreshing green spaces around the city, and this is one of my favorites. Redwing Park has it all - playgrounds and pitches for several different sports, BBQ ovens, picknick tables, a dedicated dog park, walking paths, Japanese Gardens, restrooms, handicap accessible parking, and hiking paths through Malbon's swamp. Highly Recommended!

There were a lot of people there, so the traffic was crazy compared to normal but worth the trip. There were a few activities for the kids my son is almost 3 and he had fun. The trees look great and got a lot of great photos.

Additionally they had live performances from martial arts to singing to showcase the Japanese culture behind the festival. Very cool event only reason for taking off a star is the lack of vendors there was room for more and some of the lines were crazy long to get snacks and my son is not excited about waiting in lines. But...

I got to visit this path during the cherry blossom festival. The flowers falling are a beautiful sight. I am glad that they only bloom as a yearly occurrence, because it really lets me treasure the true beauty of these trees. There is enough space for a small family to walk comfortable next to one another. There are also enough trees for photographers to all do their own photo shoots at the same time. I was able to talk with several other photographers during this time. I highly reccomend you visit this path, both in and...
