Very small but cozy place. I was greeted by great smelling cooking from the kitchen. I then was greeted with a welcoming smile and as I explained that it's my first time, I was asked what I was craving for to which I replied "fish!" I was immediately recommended the catfish - which I used to eat when I was growing up in the Philippines. I could get 2 fillet meal for $14.99 or 1 fillet meal for $13.99 - that extra dollar for another fillet was too hard to pass up! There were many choices for 2 sides that came with the meal but I picked collards and potato salad. The other choices were Cole slaw, rice, cabbage... I say on the line chair while waiting for my meal to be prepared. Had to be takeout as there aren't chairs or tables. I was able to admire the unique art pieces and display: including a mirror with colorful plastic utensils as backdrop for the mirror. I got to taste my meal and it was delicious and heart warming - a hug for my tummy: the catfish fillets were perfectly seasoned and not burnt or oily. Overpriced and rude.

The first time we came here we didn’t have mask and were told to leave, which hey I understand and respect that. We stopped by in the fly of the moment to check it out and therefore didn’t have our masks. The lady was extremely rude but we decided to give them a shot anyway and later came back. We came in and there was people there who didn’t have mask and they were told nothing. I will say that I am Hispanic and they were black. Alright well I still looked passed this and ordered BBQ chicken, it was so dry and their fries and Mac n cheese was subpar. My husband ordered pork chops and that was way too salty, same with the rice and gravy. And we like to spice our food, we love flavor! But that wasn’t it. Had a bad experience. I tried to order on the phone on Sunday July 7, 2019 at 3:35pm. I was told that they do not take orders over the phone 30 minutes before closing. I was okay I’ll see you at the store. Then she said on the phone that just to let you know we cut off the fryers 15 minutes before closing, so 3:45pm. I said okay I’m actually on the way, see you in the store. So I booked down the road I got there at 3:40pm . I attempted to place my order and was told they only had 5 chicken wings. I ordered 6 chicken wings. I thought my food was made to order, I was confused.They were not willing to fill my order, and after all of this I decided that they didn’t want my business.
