An extremely underwhelming (terrible) experience. We arrived at 2 pm on a Friday, there were maybe 2 groups of 4-6 people in the bays. There were 1-2 people at the bar and then our group of 3. There was no one at the host desk and it took quite a bit for someone to finally greet us and seat us. We ordered 2 burgers and salad. Hackers had recently won a best burger competition which is why we chose here to eat. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come out. I had to ask for refills on drinks as no one had been by since our order was taken. We requested medium done burgers and both came out very well done. Very well done. I told the manager/bartender and she said they would be “comped”. Our waitress offered new burgers cooked by the “executive chef” this time saying they would be quick. We agreed, and 20 minutes later they finally came out (not quick). They came out barely pink but still very dry. I noticed the burgers did not come with any sauces or condiments so I requested ketchup and mustard (none at the table) and our waitress’ response was almost in disgust like she was offended that I even asked the question. I forced the burger down, my wife ate about a quarter of hers and requested the bill. The burgers were still on the bill after I was told they’d be comped. So there was an uncomfortable conversation about having them removed from the bill. In the end, I will never patronize Hackers again. Absolutely, unequivocally the worst burger I have had in the 757. The waitress was nice but definitely 5/10. It took entirely too long to prepare and bring our food with as few people as they had. I would rather have gone to Sonic or McDonalds. Terrible experience. 0 out of however many stars. I’d go negative...
Read moreI'll try and keep this short. A group of us came in to use a Groupon this past Saturday 1/25/2025. We were unaware that reservations were needed, which wasn't a problem at all. Kindly asked to reserve a bay for next day and was told no. Wasn't given an explanation of why the Groupon couldn't be used on a Sunday even though it was the same price. Honestly, this was annoying, but wasn't the reason for the 1-star review. I only have one star because I couldn't give zero. This was our first time visiting this place and was really excited to come. But upon entering, we were greeted by a girl who was probably 1/3 dead, 1/3 asleep, and 1/3 just barely making it. And it really wasn't any type of greeting at all. Literally, the whole interaction with her was extremely unpleasant and very uninviting. Like I mentioned earlier, this was our first time visiting. I've always been a firm believer that the employees are a direct representation of the business. Maybe if you all would adopt the Chick-fil-A model of hiring those who actually WANT to be there, as well as ensuring a level of quality service that ownership would be proud of. I'm sure Hackers is probably a wonderful place to enjoy, and i hope others will not have the same experience. However, we were thoroughly unimpressed and really just considering getting the Groupon refunded. If the young lady that was working the front desk around 2pm yesterday is any indication of what the service will be like during a typical visit, then I would caution the next patron to possibly looking into other entertainment options, where you're greeted by a smile and a sense of gratefulness that you've decided to spend your hard earned money there. I don't know... maybe I'm just...
Read moreSo last Friday I decided to come here with a few friends to drink and have a good time, however it seemed as though the bartender was as drunk as us! We laughed it off and it soon did not become a secret any longer. We over heard an ex employee talking to some of the staff about his time their as an employee and was confused about his termination and seemed to have wanted answers. He felt as though it was personal and couldn’t wrap his mind around why.. The tall guy with hair I believe is the chef or I should say was the chef because if they kept that guy then they have some serious problems! Either way, he walks up and the end up talking a couple minutes went by and the guy pushed the employee! They are into a scruffle against the glass and everyone starts leaving! People were scared and left! The bartender starts screaming at the top of his lungs cause he was literally drunk on the job. SMH!!! The police were called and things seemed to go back as normal. But this isn’t it. The most disgusting part was there was no apology whatsoever and the same “chef” that was fighting ended up at the same bar to get HAMMERED while on the job! We seen him walk back and forth from the kitchen while drunk as if the place wasn’t already busy! I’m sure his team needed him but nope the “chef” needed booze instead, so distasteful and unprofessional. Never have seen anything like it! If I was the owner I’d be FURIOUS with his staff. Would not come there again they need some...
