Office Depot — Local services in Virginia Beach

While, the one gentleman did check on me several times. After looking at every model printer on display, I inquired about are any models laser and/or inkjets in stock. Lady said NO, I then asked if ordered how long would it take, she replied, I don't know that they haven't had printers since March. This is Aug 30th. I sarcastically asked if all the printers are made in China, to which she said yes. They lost a customer not only for a new printer but for weekly refills of paper, ink and other business tools and items.i typically do not make comments unless they are positive and build people up. But, this lady made it clear that she was NOT interested in creating sales for this store nor, a life long customer. By the way she spoke, I had assumed that I no stores anywhere would have printers for sale. Well, I went to Wal-Mart to shop for groceries and they had printers tho, I didn't purchase one there as I wanted a better model. Guess I will try Office Max. I am a principle person so based on how I'm treated either creates a loyal customer or I become one who would never purchase anything from a company even if they were the best price in town. Maybe the corporate office needs to send in undercover shoppers to see how they are getting turned away on...

This place is a joke! They can never keep the good employees. I come and show weekly here. I been out if town for a month and had to come shop for office supplies for my boss...

The same managers been there for 10+ years and you can tell. They sit around and talk about the associate while customers can here. They have this buddy pack so no need to complaint! You do better calling corporate!

They let the lines get long and want help until the last minute. RJ left and he was the best thing in print and copy. He never lost his cool and made sure your project came out amazing..Now they have a white guy who act crazy and Katie. Katie is very slow and have attitude with people It was a cashier named Priscilla who always said Welcome to Office Depot. She made sure to acknowledge and help you. I went into the store yesterday to find out she longer works there. The guy was telling me how the associates make $8.50- $10 and can only be part time wihout benefits while the managers are making $20 plus.

I plan on doing more online ordering because the managment is horrible and the poor cashiers have to...

My husband was at the Hillstop store today, Monday, and when he arrived home, he told me of the poor customer service in the Self-service section. He asked a lady behind the Print counter for help, and all she said was, "It's self-service, or you need to put in a print order." We are not all up to date with technology, so a little help from the lady or someone else would have been appreciated. Sadly, no help at all. I told him we could go to the one on Princess Anne even if we had to drive further to get the copies and fax done. I don't know what's going on with this store, we live ten minutes from it, but being disrespected or their poor customer service, steers us to go to another store and not be treated this way, he didn't deserve to be talked to the way that lady spoke to him...
