I finally tried Another Broken Egg Cafe for my son’s moving-up brunch. The food was good, but the service missed the mark.

It was a Friday morning and not too busy. Most of the staff seemed on top of things — except our server. She seemed new or overwhelmed. It took a while just to get drinks, our food came out in pieces, and there were mix-ups with the orders. It seemed she was more focused on refills than actually correcting issues. Thankfully, Dashawn, who was assisting her, was great — attentive, helpful, and really tried to make things right.

My friend ordered a salmon salad, and it came out raw. When she asked for it to be cooked or removed, our server insisted it was cooked and said cooking it more would “look weird.” Then they replaced the salmon with fried chicken — without asking — and it was too hard to eat. She hadn’t eaten all day, so that was extra frustrating.

As for the rest of us: I had the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler with country potatoes and a blueberry lemon mimosa — both were delicious. My daughter enjoyed the Southwest Scrambler, though her plate came out last and very late due to a mix-up. My husband had the Mardi Gras Omelette, which was very tasty.

The guest of honor had pancakes with cheesy eggs and bacon— he didn’t care for the pancakes, and neither did my husband. Both said they prefer IHOP’s or mine, lol. Our oldest had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, which was good but too sweet to finish in one go.

Overall, food and drinks were solid. Dashawn made a big difference. But the pace and service from our server made it a frustrating experience. I’d give them another try — just not with the...

Came in here on a Saturday morning with my daughter to kill some time before the mall opens. We were seated right away and the hostess was friendly and approachable. After being seated, our server Leigh B, took our drink order - probably within 5 minutes. When she brought our drinks, we ordered our food at approximately 9:22am. Fast forward to 9:48 and still no food. We looked over at our server and she was behind the bar talking to the bar tender. She saw me looking and immediately went back to get our food. She comes back at about 9:53 with our plates of food. My eggs were incorrect so she went back to get me new eggs (over medium is what I ordered and they came out scrambled with cheese). Within minutes my new eggs came out but they were actually over easy and way too runny for my taste. My potatoes, sausage, and English muffins were all room temperature. Not only this, I was charge $3.99 for a cup of coffee that was not once refilled. The pancakes were no better than cafeteria pancakes and were paper thin. Service and food were terrible. I gave you 2 stars for the hostess doing her job and the decor. If we do come back, we hope to be Woo’d. posting this much for breakfast for one adult and one child and I expect way better. This is why we didn’t go to the other breakfast places around here. New from AZ and I guess we were spoiled out there with excellent service, clean spaces, and great food nearly everywhere we went. VB leaves A LOT to be desired in the...

i came in yesterday about 1 hour before they closed, our server anush was absolutely wonderful, she recommended the lemon blueberry mimosas and it was so good! her service was the best i have gotten in months from anywhere! Unfortunately she quit when we were finishing up and her manager Jerry was screaming at her in main portion of the restaurant she was sitting down rolling silverware and also was maintaining us as well. she seems so frustrated when he approached her. As we were walking out and thanking her, the manager was seeming to be very rude to her telling her to get out of the restaurant and the other manager (big heavy set women in a purple shirt) was just sitting there allowing this to go on in the restaurant as he was yelling  and cursing at her. she did stand up for her self and hold her ground. the manager jerry told her to give all her tip money to him, and i felt like that was unfair due to the fact that she worked for her tip money. she seems to deserve better. maybe we will see her at a new restaurant. but another broken egg WILL NEVER get my money or respect ever again! i hope these message gets seen and i hope that man gets let go for his inappropriate words in the establishment while paying customers were inside. he was so mean to her. she’s in my prayers ! good luck to her ! she was an absolute...

This was our first time going. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It was beautifully decorated. I had the cinnamon bun french toast.....it was very delicious to my surprise. Hubby had the french toast with pineapples and his meal was delicious as well. We shared a pitcher of mimosa. Let's just say we both feeling it now. We will definitely be coming back to try other foods.
