Today is the last time that I go to this McDonald’s. This is not the first time nor the second I have been let down going to this establishment. I simply ordered a crispy chicken deluxe sandwich as a meal 10 piece chicken nugget and a quarter pounder medium meal two of them are large mine with medium, we pay grab our food pull away. They have only two fries then the chicken sandwich was a spicy chicken sandwich. No toppings just bun chicken bun they did not have my medium fry in the bag so we turned around to let the lady know told her what we needed which while we’re in the drive-through had to tell the girl four different times each combo over and over, when we go back, the lady screws our stuff up again gives my husband spicy chicken deluxe with orange spicy sauce all over it when we specified nothing spicy just original deluxe replaced one of the large fries and then put a small fry in the bag in place of my medium that I bought on top of that they were old, nasty, taste, and ugly fries for her. Sorry she gave my husband apple pie that was not warm. Super cold. Definitely look like it was days old, but had an attitude with us because we were asking for the food that we paid for, they could not only get the food right but we couldn’t even get fresh good food. I hate to complain and I hate to say this, but they get zero stars from us. If you do decide to go to McDonald’s on shore Drive be very cautious. It seems like the cooks or whoever dealing with food just throws it in a box doesn’t care what it is and they send you on your way. Last thing to top it off my son‘s 10 piece. Nugget was two nugget short and as you seen the pictures, they were so overdone seem like they were dipped back into the oil to freshen them up but it made it even more disgusting to look...
Read moreMcDonald's on Shore Drive delivers exactly what you'd expect from the fast-food giant – consistent, quick, and budget-friendly fare. It's a convenient stop for a hurried breakfast, a quick lunch, or a late-night bite when cravings strike, especially given its prominent location. The menu is standard McDonald's: Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, fries, and McNuggets. On my visits, the food has generally been prepared as ordered and served hot, which is the baseline expectation for fast food. The drive-thru is usually efficient, handling a steady stream of cars with reasonable speed, and the interior is typically clean and well-maintained. For families with kids, it offers the familiar comforts and options that make it an easy choice when on the go. However, a three-star rating reflects that while it meets expectations, it rarely exceeds them. Consistency can sometimes waver, with fries occasionally being less than perfectly crispy or orders having minor omissions, though these are not frequent occurrences. The atmosphere, while functional, is typical fast-food sterile – it lacks any unique local charm or special touches that would elevate the experience beyond a transactional one. During peak times, the popularity of the location can lead to longer waits than desired, both in the drive-thru and inside. Ultimately, this McDonald's is a reliable workhorse. It serves its purpose efficiently and predictably, offering the familiar taste and convenience that people associate with the brand. It's not a destination dining experience, nor does it aim to be. It's a perfectly adequate option for when you need a quick, no-frills meal, making it a solid if unremarkable choice among the many dining options on...
Read moreThis was the most horrible drive in experience I've had at a McDs today for evening service. Saw there were two cars in line with no one at the order speaker. Went to the order speaker and waited for about 2 minutes before someone told me that they would be with me. I waited patiently for about 7 minutes (I'm very patient guy), and all I heard was static. I thought it may be a fault in their speaker system. So I drove up, with no one at the pay window. Those two cars were still there. After 2 minutes, they finally cleared, and I went up to the pickup window. What looks to be the manager and another person were just talking. I had to wave them down, and the orderer came up to the window. I told her that I couldn't hear her and she said that " we were working as a team" (?!?!?!) and that she had me on hold (Even though I told her it was 7 minutes). I just wanted four cheeseburgers and said I'd pay right there. Instead, she wanted me to go around all over again, by which time two cars were already there. This is despite me pulling out my credit card ready to pay.
I have never seen such insolence from staff at any restaurant like this. God knows if they would even get a four cheeseburger order right. If you need fast food in the area, avoid this place like the plague, and go down Great Neck road 5 minutes to the Wendy's, where they will give you your order pretty promptly and without...
