Walking in it has an old feel and energy. Almost just a saloon with windows. All of the burgers are made with wagyu beef. Would be super great if they seasoned the beef. Just a thought! Ordered an appetizer of 12 boneless wings flavored habanero firecracker to share with my daughter. When we received them they looked like pieces of chicken just fried and coated with sauce. I take one and she takes ones. The piece I had was too hard. My daughter couldn't take the heat of the sauce and she loves hot/spicy. We tell our server both of our opinions of this snack. She voiced that she would let the manager know however they don't do return/exchanges for taste however they might because of how crunchy hard they were. She returned with a message from the manager stating that they will not take the item off the ticket however would we like to order something else. No thank you! I'm paying for wings that I'm not eating why would I add more to my total bill. SMH about 15 minutes later another server brings us 6 plain boneless wings with buffalo sauce on the side. That was very nice! They were still pretty hard to the point where they were cutting my gums. Uncomfortable! Then our burgers arrived, nice presentation. My daughter and I decided while ordering that we wanted to try the waffle fries and the tots so she ordered tots and I got waffle fries so we could share with each other. Both were subpar. The burgers were creative (I had the nacho burger and my daughter had the MacDaddy). The toppings were good however I would have liked a better seasoned burger. At this point I just wanted to eat and didn't want to go through the red tape to possibly get a better tasting burger. Btw it was cooked to perfection. So I asked for a cup of barbecue sauce to help enhance the flavor of the burger for me. I know what you're thinking nacho burger with BBQ sauce. It helped! Then it was time to pay and I noticed that they charge for everything but the use of their plates, utensils and paper goods. Read moreI am sorry to say I was very disappointed. I read about this place on Facebook from another person who had just dined there and thought I'd give it a try. So I looked them up online and found a menu that looks like it was a picture of the original menu. I decided on chicken wings and the nachos. It was $12 for one item and 13 for the other, so I thought. Order for me to pick up and paid by credit card. When I arrived to pick up I was told to go to the bar and that the lady there would take care of me. So she gave me a bill to sign and I was a bit stunned because it was $41. I didn't think I was going to spend over 26or 27. Because I was running late for work I didn't even questioned it. I just signed it and left. On the way to work. Work I ate or started to eat the wings. I got barbecue chicken wings and I must say they were absolutely positively delicious. I was so happy with them that I could not wait till the next day to bounce on to the nachos. The next day for lunch I had decided to do the nachos and this is where my second disappointment comes in. I had a bag of chips and I had a small container of cheese, lettuce and onions. Was that it? There was nothing else to put on these nachos? And the container was so small. It was hardly anything that would cover the nachos or the chips. The pico sauce was really good and I had even answer an extra container of that but it was not enough. I thought there would have been chilly of some kind or some kind of a sauce that went over these but I was mistaken. So between the cost of the food and the nachos I will not return to this place nor would I recommend it. However, they have some issues with customer service, which is why I have given 3 stars. It’s not so much a customer service issue in the sense that the staff if not friendly — they have been quite friendly in my experience. What I’m referring to is the fact that almost every single time I have called this place to order ahead, no one answers the phone. Maybe 2 times in the last 6-10 orders I’ve placed over the past year. It seems as though they just stop answering the phone after a certain (early) hour which is odd and pretty annoying, especially when I call at normal business hours. Typically businesses want more business, and do things to encourage more business, like answering the phone. I don’t understand.
They also stop serving food before their posted closing time, and usually I understand that since I have worked in a kitchen and I know how annoying it is when people show up 15-20 minutes till closing. However, when your online hours are listed as 10:00PM, you should not be stopping service at 9:00PM (which happened to me recently). I’m not sure if I just caught them on a bad night, but they had a full bar, so I’m not sure what to think about that. They did have hours on the door posted as 9:30, but that’s still a full 30 minutes early.
Maybe update your online hours so people don’t show up 30 minutes till close thinking they have an hour.
Overall, place is solid. I would raise my star rating if they would make some improvements to the things I’ve mentioned above. Go there if you want a good burger, or just good...
