If I could give zero stars I would. I absolutely NEVER thought I would be profiled while shopping at Seasons Best Bakery. I was a very loyal shopper (drove a nice distance to support this business). Yesterday on April 24th I entered the bakery and purchased 3 brownies, 2 cakes, and 2 loaves of cheese bread (which were not made yet). I was told that I could come back later that day to pick the bread up as it was not ready yet. At around 3:50 a lady from the bakery (very sweet young lady) called and said the bread would be done in about an hour (around 5 o'clock) but the store closes at 6. I called back a few minutes later to let her know that I wouldnāt be able to make it back that night because I wasnāt feeling well, but that I would be there today April 25th to pick up the bread. The young lady was perfectly fine with that and apologized for the bread taking so long (which again was not a problem). Today I receive a call a little after 1 from the owner of the bakery asking if I still was picking my bread up, I told her yes and let her know that someone was on the way. When my mother arrived to the bakery, the owner was yelling from behind the counter that the bread was not paid for and to not give my mother the bread (a different lady was at the register, but again still very sweet and only trying to do her job). As my mother calls me to ask about the receipt that I had as proof of purchase, the owner makes a smart remark to just give her the bread. My thing is, why would you call me about the bread if you didnāt think I paid for it. Why would I lie about bread??? The owner could have very well searched in her POS System to see the amount I paid yesterday as proof that I did indeed purchase the bread. Again, I was a very loyal supporter of this bakery however I WILL NOT be returning ever again. Simply because of the owners very nasty attitude and profiling. Again, the other ladies were very sweet and this review is in no way an insult to their characters. Just advice from one business owner to another, fix your attitude and do more to help your customers instead of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve tried to give these people that work and own this place so much grace as Iāve been coming there giving chance after chance for years now. Although they have never gave that welcome feeling Iād think that maybe theyāre just tired and working hard( just as others do, but are much more pleasant). It seems they never really greet their customers, especially people of color and those with disabilities. Itās usually nothing is said until they are ready to take your money. Today was the last time Iāll be visiting their establishment, and very kindly chose to not make my purchase after the person I was supporting couldnāt make their purchase. That younger lady made a very inappropriate comment about ānot being emotionalā which she nor them could ever affect my emotions, so donāt give yourself that much credit. We just wonāt support where weāre not appreciated. Have some real customer service and know this is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a patron of this establishment for years. I would fly into town just to patronize the bakery. Unfortunately today will be my absolute last time spending my dollars with them. The attitude of of the young girl this morning rolling her eyes and repeating herself multiple times before I could complete my order was not only unprofessional but clearly she thought she could handle me like she was dealing with one of her flaky peers. The hundreds of dollars I planned to spend this morning will be welcomed to remain in my pocket. Do better, be better young lady!! Iām going to make sure none of our family and friends ever return to this establishment!! Donāt let that highlighter allow you to get it completely twisted on the importance of customer service and understanding that our dollars do and...
