Shun Xing Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I've ordered here several times for "working lunches" at my job. I've placed orders for 15-20 people at a time for pick-up. I really appreciate that they put the individual names of each person on each container. Service is always super friendly and accommodating. I forgot to order extra fried noodles for soup (you get a free pack with your soup, but have to pay for extras) this last time and asked if I could have a few extra packs when I got there. The lady was like "no problem! We take care of our customers". She threw a bunch in the bag for no charge.

I like that their fried noodles taste homemade, and not the crappy hard ones out of the bag. This is my favorite place for hot and sour soup. I've searched far and wide! All the food has been delicious... Everyone at work has only had good things to say. The General Tsos Chicken is a hit in my book as well.

All of my experiences here have been pleasant and tasty. I wish it was closer to my home so I could make this my own goto Chinese joint for ordering takeout.

My Favorite Chinese restaurant was closed so I tried this place for the first time. The employee or owner up front at the register was very nice and gave off an authentic vibe. The food was ready within the 10 minutes they stated at time of phone order. I ordered a dinner and it tasted very good but Wow just Wow on the amount of food. It was at least double the amount compared to other Chinese Restaurants and fresh. It was around 4-5 pounds of Entree easily. This place has won out as my new favorite and I bet you would agree if you ate there. I really hate to leave bad reviews on small local companies, but possibly new customers should be aware. but the food was absolutely horrible and went right into the the trash. I ordered pork fried rice and chicken and broccoli. the chicken was rubber and seemed very old. I am no professional cook, but it tasted like they never change there cooking oil. the chicken and broccoli seemed to have a fishy smell.
