My family and I went in for dinner on a Wednesday evening to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. They were not very busy, as usual. I have been there many times and it is never busy, never more then 3 tables. This evening we were seated towards the back of the restaurant. There was a larger group seated at the very front. There was one gentleman in this group who was being so loud that we could hear his conversation clearly. The other two tables that were there were also bothered by the inconsideration this group had for anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. One man even called him a vulgar name as he and his wife left. Then for 10 minutes we had to hear how he would "protect himself" if the man came back. We were trying to have our own conversation at the table and we could hear his conversation better than our own. I was annoyed, I asked the waitress if she could kindly ask them to keep it down. Little did I know it was one of the owners and their friends making all the noise. After the waitress brought it to their attention. The owner said "If they don't like it they can leave" That is in fact what we did and we will never be back! For a business is that slow all the time, they should be more courteous to...
Read moreWe ordered from this place this evening and it was one of the worst meals I've ever ordered. I wanted to order sushi but they only had raw sushi offerings which is not my preference so we settled on the Japanese shrimp fried rice because who doesn't love a good Japanese fried rice. Well what we ended up getting could not have been further from Japanese fried rice. This was like a very bad version of Chinese fried rice. The shrimp was bland and chopped up which is something I've never seen in a dish before. I've always had whole shrimp, even if they were small, they were always whole. Also noted, Japanese fried rice doesn't have peas and carrots in it. True Japanese fried rice is sauteed fresh with fresh veggies, this beared no resemblance to that dish whatsoever. The real travesty is that I wasted over $40 on this horrible meal. Avoid this place if you are looking for authentic, fresh...
Read moreIt’s a slow Sunday evening - we walked in to the general booth location about 630. The waitress sat us and then took about 10 minutes to come back to take drinks and greeted us with “what are you ordering” very stand off ish and just a poor overall attitude. She seemed to gravitate to a specific table over us. Anyway the drinks and miso finally came and the tea was sour - the miso was good!
As we sat waiting for our food I was examining the dinning room and the floors were pretty dirty.
The food came around 30 minutes later - rice wasn’t hot, the chicken teriyaki wasn’t hot. The volcano roll was mediocre - the philly roll was pretty good. The spicy salmon roll was not good.
All and all our experience here was terrible and we won’t be returning. Would not give a...
