This location is an absolute disaster. I've tolerated it a few times late at night and early in the morning, but today at 2 PM—well past any lunch rush—I sat in the drive-through for 10 full minutes and not a single voice came over the speaker. No cars in front of me. No acknowledgment. Just silence. I parked and went inside, only to find at least nine people waiting, clearly frustrated. There’s a giant touchscreen ordering kiosk—convenient if it actually worked efficiently—and this place doesn’t even accept cash, which is laughable. I stood there another six minutes watching chaos unfold behind the counter. At least ten employees back there, and not one seemed to know what they were doing. It was utter confusion. The drive-thru layout is embarrassing. The drive-through is wedged between a dumpster and a curve-and there’s a sign that says move this way, which has never worked, and the two drive-through windows look haunted. It’s barely functional. Even construction workers on their break gave up after ten minutes in line and walked next door to 7-Eleven to get a hot dog. I've avoided this place during lunch before, thinking the packed intersection was due to people desperately wanting Burger King. Now I realize it’s probably traffic from people fed up and leaving empty-handed. Every time I’ve managed to get food here in the past—morning or evening—it’s been wrong. This location is hanging by a thread. At this point, it either needs a complete overhaul or to be shut...
Read moreThis area is quite ghetto, so I understand the lack of qualities. This location is fine, but it could be better.
Let’s start with the food and service. The food is fine, standard Burger King quality. Whoppers taste ok, nothing to complain about. Nuggets taste good when hot and fresh, so I’ll give points for that.
Service, on the other hand, could improve. One time I got here and I got the wrong drink for one of my items (they gave me Dr. Pepper instead of Coke). Ok, that’s fine. I could just dump it out into the beverage machine and refill. When I go to refill, no ice. How does a machine run out of ice so fast in an area that’s not so populated? This issue has happened before as well, so I don’t know what the problem is.
Another nitpick is that they don’t just put out your mobile order on the counter like many other fast food restaurants I’ve been to have. You have to come up to them personally and tell them you have a mobile order and state your name. I get it; this is done to prevent theft. But it could be fixed if the workers would just call out your mobile order and if no one comes to pick it up, they could put it back until someone does.
Overall, if you really crave BK on a whim, this place is decent to go to. I’ve been to this establishment in the past before many times, and I just feel like the overall quality has...
Read moreIf there is a Negative Star, it would be the one. This is my 3rd time going to this place because I live nearby, but this time is definitely will be my last. On Sunday, June 4th 2016 around 10:30 AM I came to this location, Gunston, Lorton to order some breakfast. While I was at the drive through I indicated to the lady on the intercom that I have a coupon ...but before I get to finish what I was saying, she interrupted with a big loud voice "It's expired!” I told her the coupon expiration date is on June 19, 2016 and today is June 3, then she said "oh oh okay...”. As I continued to place my order, she kept on asking me what I wanted, I repeated 3x and then she said they ran out, but three seconds later she said they were still available. What in the world is going on with this place? I'm so confused and don’t understand why they would place someone at the drive through who barely can speaks clear or understands English to take order? Stress before meal is so unnecessary; therefore I will not come back to this location again. On this note, I rather go to a real restaurant where customer service is...
