Chesapeake Bagel Bakery is a delightful breakfast spot that left a positive impression. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that they are all about service and speed. The place was bustling with many people, but the line moved quickly, a testament to their efficiency. The bagels were a highlight. They were undeniably fresh and had that perfect combination of a crisp exterior and a soft, doughy inside. I couldn't help but savor each bite. One of the standout features was their outdoor patio. It provided a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy the bagels and soak in the surroundings. I was so impressed with their bagels that I seriously contemplated going back in for more. To top off my breakfast experience, their fresh orange juice was exceptional. It was the ideal complement to the bagels, and it added a refreshing touch to the meal. Chesapeake Bagel Bakery's commitment to delivering fresh, quality bagels with efficient service, combined with the lovely outdoor seating and outstanding orange juice, made it a memorable breakfast stop. If you're in the area, I highly recommend...
Read moreThough not spacious and the line can be to the door, it is the place to go if you want to get something on the way to school, work, sports game, or in between running errands. They have healthy bottled drinks, premade fresh salads, some pastries, soft drinks, and of course, bagels. The line movies fairly fast and you can normally find a table or booth. You can also get your order to go. You can call ahead and order for the office (order a couple dozen bagels and get some cream cheese next to the cash register). They can slice the bagels, too. They have their own orange juice squeezer machine and sell fresh fruit cups. No smoothies, though. I feel sorry for the people behind the counter taking and filling the orders. Just hope they are paid well because they are VERY...
Read moreThis is the place that comes closest to original New York water bagels. Most places you can buy bagels, like Giant or Safeway, either sell frozen bagels or egg bagels. But none of these come close to what they have here. In addition, they have a very large variety of choices from the traditional cream cheese and smoked salmon to almost any time of sandwich with any type of topping. On weekends there is usually a long line but they are very efficient in getting people in and out quickly. And the people that work there are friendly and helpful. There is always a manager on duty and they keep things running smoothly. While there are other bagel places that make their own bagels, this is the place that most reminds me of genuine New...
