Great park especially for kids. Down the paved path is a playground and swings for toddler aged children. There is a lot of wide open areas with a creek to the far north end so be aware of that. No restrooms here. There is a large pavilion in the middle where I assume birthday parties/events can be held with prior permit. Enough parking for everyone as it shares the lot with the library next door. If you want to recycle your cans, bottles, or other recyclable items, there are approved county dumpsters specifically for that. While here, I was with the family just checking it out and saw a beautiful bird. It was very large and what looks to be a Falcon. During the spring was when I spotted this fantastic flyer, they are one of the fastest flying birds reaching speeds in excess of 60mph!. I recommend this park to anyone.

Beautiful park, the trail is gorgeous but it gets really narrow and difficult at some points. Going towards great falls the whole way there is water view. Bathroom always clean. There is a nice and small gift shop. There is a boat ramp as well.

In winter also it looks nice, so i am guessing it will be so much more prettier in summer. Nice trails to walk on. Serene and peaceful environment. Playground for little ones , tennis court, library near by and ample parking..

I take my 7 year old daughter to the playground and she always has a delightful time. There are usually 7 or 8 kids there of varying ages and she's made two new pandemic-friends that she FaceTimes.

Kids are all masked, so are the parents. Playground is creatively put together and all the kids enjoy it. The playground consists of:

Two little kid swings Two big kid swings A jungle gym with two slides A cute play structure in the shape of a train vomiting a slide out of its mouth Two covered "train cars" to sit in when the sun is hot Two rocking horses Three picnic tables and a bench for parents and Plenty of room...

Lovely park in McLean by the library and community center. There are 2 playgrounds, one for younger children and one for older children. The scenery is beautiful with paths through the large trees and there's a stream that sometimes has little fish in it. There is Frisbee golf, 3 tennis courts and 2 practice tennis backboards which are all first come...
