I have membership to a handful of libraries and have gone to others in the county. Dolly Madison is the best when reserving books to pickup. Books are also kept in great condition. I don't know if that is why they don't have many older books. They do have new prints of classics. Another thing I really like about Dolly Madison is that if there is a series they often have the whole collection. With the first volume having a couple copies. So if you want to start a new series it is easier to find the first book, than other libraries I have frequented. The audio/digital Libby collection is great. So even if you are not able to make it to the library often you can check out books and read them on your phone or tablet and not worry about returning them. Fun little library to visit - it has some lovely little reading areas with a beautiful view of the wooded area outside. It’s a rather small library, but their inter library loan program works well. The automated book check out is something I greatly appreciate, so I don’t have to worry about the librarian disapproving of my book choices, haha. They have interesting activities that they host here, and there is a purple glass recycling container in the parking lot, if you need to drop off glass recyclables.
