Upon arrival my family an I were not greeted or asked to be seated. It appeared the manager and staff member were having a discussion that was far more important than customer service. After standing there for several minutes a server without making eye contact pointed at a table and said “sit here.” 10-15 mins go by before even being acknowledged that we’ve been seated. Few mins later a server approaches and asked if we had been helped. About 5-7 more mins go by before we have a server. The entire time my family of 6 were sitting there with one menu waiting to be helped. After getting our drink order, all soda mind you he proceeds to take our order on his phone. We assume he had placed the order correctly and continued to patiently wait. After the food arrived my sons food was completely wrong and only brought out one of my sons orders. When asked where the other order was he replied “ the quesadilla is pretty big so I only placed an order for one.” Which wasn’t what we asked for. So after his food being wrong we replaced the ordered and waited for 30 mins on a single beef quesadilla. At that point the rest of the family had finished eating. While waiting for my sons food our server had time to eat his dinner and not refill a single drink but couldn’t bring out a quesadilla. Absolutely hands down the WORST dining staff I’ve ever encountered. My compliments to the cooks as the...
Read moreThe food is EXCELLENT! We were staying at a hotel nearby and went both days we were there. Communication was the weak spot. The first day my order was a bit mixed up on a couple items. It wasn’t a big deal except that I was ordering the smaller margarita, but was given and charged for the largest (& more expensive) one. We came back the next day and I pointed to items on the menu to make sure I was clear. I know that the waitress had my order correct, but things were missing when the order was brought out by someone else. My food got cold while I waited for the chorizo dip & sour cream.
Staff weren’t clear on who was doing what. We had our drinks ordered, but another waiter came by to take our drink order. The lady that was clearing/cleaning tables cleared a table too early. The customers were in the bathroom. This confused the waitress about where to deliver the food and upset the customers a little. Then the table next to them went to the bathroom, again the lady came to clear it. I told her not to. Customers were waiting for a booth, but after a table was cleared the lady gave it to other customers. They were upset because they specifically needed a booth and had been waiting...
Read moreThe waitress was more interested in the bar crowd than us. My husband wanted no ice in his soda and it had some, and I had Horchatta without ice (which tasted very watered down anyway). The food was not very savory, definitely not spicy (which was okay). I had asked for some guacamole when we got our food and had to re-ask after we were done and she brought the check. Got it to go for $8.50, which I thought was pretty high. When I looked into the container, there was a lot, so I was okay with the price. The mixture was mostly cilantro and onions with a distinct lime flavor. The avocados were in chunks with a little bit mashed, so not much avocado flavor. We were underwhelmed with whomever was cooking that day. If this is the norm for them, we will not be going back. Edit: I wound up in the hospital Friday after eating some of the leftover guacamole. After vomiting and passing out, my husband had to call 911 because I stopped breathing. It was an overdose of cilantro that they "doctored up" the guacamole with. I was kept overnight and feel better, but my heart is still a little off. BEWARE!!!! If the guacamole looks like a cilantro dip instead of an avocado one,...
