DaVinci — Restaurant in Virginia

They have wonderful food and I really like it . But, I got some food delivered and only needed seven dollars back . The guy said that he didn't have change and only had three dollars in quarters . Now, I know that most delivery drivers carry less than twenty dollars but, I would expect you to at least have five to ten dollars . Oh well, I guess that I'll be calling less . By the way, I don't drive and that's why I like to have things delivered . Also, Davinci's charges two dollars to deliver . Update I waited about six months and decided to give these cretins another try (Called on 4-5-2018) . I placed my order on the phone and was told that it would be $20.54 altogether . I asked a second time just to be sure and he assured me that the $20.54 included the delivery fee and tax . The driver gets here and tells me that he doesn't have the receipt and I'm fine with that . He then tells me that it's $20.54 plus $2.00 . I didn't really mind because I had planned on giving him a $2.00 tip anyway . This 😈 turned around and said that he needed one more dollar . I went ahead and gave it to him because this will be the last time that I call them . This con artist got a $3.00 tip from me but, I want him and his co-workers to think about all of the $3.00 tips that they're no longer going to get from me . When the old Nine Mile Road Davinci's (The one by Save-A-Lot) was open, I got to know almost all of the drivers and they were cool . I loved giving them tips . But, since this store has opened, it seems like the drivers do anything they can to get a tip . Not good . By the way, I'm calling Chanello's from...

I placed an order for delivery that was cold and wrong. We ordered 2 chicken teriyaki subs and bacon cheese fries. We heated them up but it just wasn’t good so we decided to take it back. The manager or whomever he was was very rude and threw the food on the ground and told me the delivery fee would not be refunded when I walked in the door with the bag. In shock, I told him that it was fine and just to give me the money back for the food. He continued to be smart and explain how it wasn’t fair to him that we brought the food back and even said he can refuse the refund if he really wanted to exclaiming “I don’t have to give you the refund, then what.” He continued to try and argue with me and mock me as if he wasn’t in a business establishment almost as if I was wrong for bringing the food back. When handing me the money he asked me to never come back followed by a racist comment I wish not to put back into the universe.

I had been to this location 2 times prior to this visit and received excellent customer service, which I am a stickler for. However today was by far one of the worst “bad customer service” experiences...

I visited this place for the 1st time 2 months ago. I believe he was the manager, super nice and welcoming. He even told me about the cheese he uses on his pizza. Added that to my order. Pizza, steak and cheese subs (2), wings, fries and a beef patty. We requested for crispy fries and for the wings to be well done and saucy. Our food was great. The only hiccup was the wings were not saucy and they labeled our subs incorrect. I decided to go back again 05/21/25. I ordered the same thing minus the extra sub. Ordered the same way. The pizza slice amazing, didn't make it out the parking lot. Needless to say, this may not have been a good day for the rest of my order. Wings were dry and the inside meat was tough. Sub.....well trash. I went in 06/16/25 to give them another chance. I asked for the man I believed to be the manager and the guy didn't answer.
