I recently had the pleasure of dining at Charcoal Chicken, and oh boy, was it a treat! This hidden gem has won my heart with its mouth-watering, smoky delights. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of charcoal-grilled goodness enveloped me, and I knew I was in for a real treat.
The star of the show, of course, is the charcoal chicken. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor, it's clear that the chefs have perfected their recipe. The charred, crispy skin added a satisfying crunch to each bite, and the meat simply fell off the bone. I opted for the combo plate, which came with a side of creamy coleslaw and fluffy rice โ the perfect accompaniments to soak up all that savory goodness. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff and prompt refills on drinks. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and lively tunes to set the mood.
I recommend . Charcoal Chicken has earned a permanent spot on my culinary radar. Whether you're a chicken lover or just looking for a delicious meal, this place is a must-visit. So, what are you waiting for? Get on down to Charcoal Chicken and taste the magic...
ย ย ย Read moreI have been eating at this restaurant about twice a week now for about 3 months. I think they have the best Peruvian chicken in the area. I would have given them 5 stars before today. The reason for the 2 stars happened today when I went to get my lunch. They serve all their food in take out containers whether it is to go or dine in. There was a man sitting at a table today when I entered. He brought his tray up to the counter and told the employee that he had ordered vegetables not rice. At this point the employee took his food tray and scraped the rice back in the container behind the counter to serve other customers. Then he put vegetables in the tray. I don't think there is EVER a reason to take food that has made it to a table and put it back in container that will be served to other customers. I really wish I hadn't seen this as I really loved this restaurant but...

The cilantro rice wasn't bad, but it was dry, had not flavor, and had been sitting out for a bit. Yet and still, the cilantro flavor wasn't there.
The vegetables were overcooked and bland.
However, it was the mild sauce that brought this dish together and helped it to get 3 stars. Alone, the sauce is salty, but when you eat it with the rice, vegetables, and chicken.....it gives it a little something of what it was missing.
The customer service wasn't the friendliest or the best, but the amount of food that you get makes...
