Made an online order to be picked up at 5pm. When the order came through the email to confirm I noticed that it had time stamped that it will be ready in 9 to 19 minutes immediately called the Montclair Virginia store and was on hold for several minutes while trying to get through to this store. I finally got through and talk to a gentleman I explained to him the situation in which I said I ordered online I had a 5 PM pick up when it asked me if I wanted it “now” or “later” I put the date in and I put the time in but it looks like it did not take it through the online service so I was calling to make sure that they hadn’t made the pizzas and to make see if although the email was incorrect they received the right time for 5 o’clock. He explained that the pizzas were already made, I responded again and explained the issue and said I did my part by ordering them correctly online unfortunately didn’t come through that way he asked me to hold on while he asked the manager then put me on hold for four minutes after 4 minutes someone picked up the phone (as I heard laughing in the background) and then the phone hung up on me for the first of two times this location was unprofessional and disregard the customers needs. I waited a couple minutes to see if anybody would call me back and that didn’t happen so I called again to the Montclair domino’s, I again had to wait for someone to pickup and a lady (which I have her name but I will not share on this app as I think that’s unprofessional), and I will be dealing with corporate as I have already sent two complaints in regards to her, however, The “manager“ picked up the phone I explain to her the situation she said well I’m not making your pizzas again I asked for her name I told her how unprofessional she was being she chuckled and hung up the phone on me again. It is incredibly patronizing and unprofessional to treat customers this way. She should not be a manager if she cannot conduct herself in a professional manner. It’s incredibly sad the lack of professionalism and customer service that Domino’s is allowing at their facilities, unfortunately For her I am in the business and I will be making note and continuously complain until something is done at that location. Not picking up phones, unprofessional, staff unprofessional, even more unprofessional managers, pizzas not being done correctly facility not clean, maybe the health department needs to be called… it runs from the top all the way to the bottom I will not rest until something is done. Domino’s do better and hire people that want to...
Read moreLast time I tried to order delivery, I was told there was an accident and the pizza could not be delivered because the road was blocked. I was told my order would be canceled and my 2 free pizza "piece of the pie" coupons would be put back on my account.
When we tried to redeem the two pizzas, the manager on duty told my wife he only saw one pizza on his order screen and repeatedly told her that he was not going to give her two free pizzas. The guy actually took the opportunity to upsell my wife a large pizza for $7.99 because the medium "cost more more than a large," despite the fact that it was supposed to be free.
My pizza coupons were never reapplied to my account, and come to find out, I was never refunded for the order the day it was canceled. How is it possible to cancel someone's order but still have the charge show up on their credit card? And what happens when you try to correct a problem and you are just repeatedly told, "no, you are wrong" like you are some kind of petty customer trying to get free food?
The food quality at this location is very inconsistent, I am often schooled by drivers on what is and isn't extra cheese, despite having worked for a Domino's for several years. Take better care of the cheese and dough! The pizzas are good but definitely not 90's...
Read moreOrdered a pizza and it was delivered prompt, and hot but wrong. In addition to the toppings I ordered, they accidentally added green peppers (which I can’t eat). I called and the manager apologized and said they would remake and send out right away. Asked if I needed to confirm the toppings and he said no, he had the order still. Second pizza arrived promptly and hot but wrong again. Now I was missing tomatoes and red peppers, which the order was supposed to have. I called back and the manager first advised that when making the second pizza he decided to leave those off because I said I couldn’t eat green peppers.?.?.(the order HAD tomatoes and red peppers listed) when I questioned that, he then advised that they were not on the first pizza, but they were because that’s what I selected and ordered. It just didn’t make sense, and he was not as nice the second time. Borderline rude. If I made a pizza incorrect, I get it, we are all human. But I would triple check the second pizza to make sure it is as listed in the order. I wouldn’t make an executive decision to change someone’s order without their consent. I mean what’s the point of selecting your toppings? It was just a mind blowing conversation, and that’s the manager?? Smh. We’ll see if the refund...
