I ordered my daughter who is 16 years old a pizza from our local store. - Delivery. I ordered online. I did, unintentionally forget to add the tip. I was currently working and away from home at the time of delivery. After the pizza was delivered I received a phone call from someone asking if I wanted to tip the driver. I was taken back for a moment and then explained that I did forget and that of course I would tip the driver. The person on the phone asked how much and I said -$10 and they said they would adjust the balance at the end of the shift. I didn’t think much about it, although it still felt bold for someone to call me for a tip. Deserved or not. During the call the person said that my daughter was uncomfortable adding a tip on my credit card without my permission. - and she should feel uncomfortable. She did the right thing saying that to the delivery person. After the random call, I reached out to my daughter to check in. She said it was a very intense interaction and that the driver almost bullied her into tipping. Then when she said she couldn’t the driver started asking where her mom was (me), to still demand a tip. When my child kept saying I wasn’t home the driver shoved the pizza and walked away. I then reviewed our ringcam and was appalled with the drivers attitude. They were truly out of line. I called the store and talked to the manager. I told them someone had called asking did I intentionally not tip the driver and did I want to. The manager said it was actually the driver themselves that called me and never identified themselves as the driver. They acted like it was someone from the office. The manager did not apologize, did not act concerned- he just said he will address this. There is no allow ability for a grown adult to accost a child over a tip and then ask them to add one to the bill of sale without the parents permission. Then to stand there for over 5 minutes (on recording) and make my child feel uncomfortable. Read moreLast night this dominos location came through for us with our craving for pizza. This dominos location is fairly new and have not failed to amaze me. Their standards of service are very high. Although they did once forget my side of marinara sauce. It was the only time they have forgotten anything. Me and my boyfriend get late night cravings for pizza. Last night we ordered a pizza and chose to carry out the pizza rather than have it delivered for the first time. Which by the way they always deliver super fast. They are always early or on time. We did not know that the location closed at 11pm for take out. We got there at 11:15 when they weren’t expecting anyone. They still greeted us nicely, and gave us our delicious fresh pizza. Not to mention that the shop was very new, nicely organized, and up kept. We will continue to use this location as long as we live nearby! Some dominos I have ordered from take too long, or the pizza is undercooked but this dominos gets it right every time so they will continue to get money.
Oh and sorry to those who don’t like pineapple on pizza, there’s just something about the sweet and salty taste...
Read moreI usually order from this location and I usually have no issues. However, the last two orders I have received the wrong order. The first time I ordered the cheese bread with jalapeños and bacon and got only cheese. I didn’t complain about it because I know mistakes happen and it wasn’t that serious. Second time around I ordered the same bread and got no bacon and jalapeños I got spinach. So I see that order protection on tv all the time so I looked online to see if I can do it on the app couldn’t find it so I tried calling the store. The number online is wrong so I called the short pump store to get the correct number, called with the number they gave and no answer. I then called short pump store again to make sure I had the right number, I did, so I called again so still no answer. Now I call short pump again to see if I can just get my money back and they told me I had to get the refund from the store I ordered from. I asked for delivery for a reason. I have two small children and didn’t feel like taking them out of the house at 6:30 at night. So now I have to drive there and get my money back. So...
