Dunkin' — Restaurant in Virginia

Use to go to this one all the time but recently one of the ladies that works in the mornings has been unbelievably rude. We had gone in one morning and this lady was there, when I asked for one of their signature Lattes she was kinda of nasty about it and gave me it without the toppings, I asked if the whipped cream and toppings can please be on it but she got upset and said that I had to specifically say that it was the signature latte to get the whipped cream and stuff. I apologized and asked if I could still have it added but she told me she would charge me. I said that was fine and she rolled her eyes and put the smallest amount of whipped cream on it and nothing else and shoved the drink back at me. This morning I needed to get something on my way to work and this Dunkin was the closest place to me. I asked for a unsweetened tea but the girl over the speaker said sweet tea and when I tried to clarify that I wanted a unsweetened tea she got snippy and was condescending. It sounded like she was having a rough morning but when I got to the window it was the same lady from before and she was nasty and shoved my drinks and food through the window and didn't say so much as a word. Most of the other employees there are kind but this one lady is not at all present to interact with and honestly I dread going there just due to the thought she might be the one to take my order or hand me my food. This place is a total cluster Ef. I came in at 12:20 and no one was there. I ordered a Reese’s peanut butter chocolate shake after waiting 5 minutes to give my order.

There were 3 people working and the manager was on the phone with tech support, one woman wandered around aimlessly, without purpose and never asked if I needed anything and the 3rd just stayed in the back.

When the woman finally went to make my shake I told her it was a medium Reese’s chocolate peanut butter but she continued to make a large vanilla instead which they threw away because no one ordered it.

Finally the manager went to make my drink and then told me they don’t have Reese’s chocolate peanut butter because no one took it out so I got a chocolate peanut butter swirl.

It’s now been 15 minutes and I watched the only other customer in there walkout.

There were at least 5 empty spots where no one stocked the ice cream and about 40% of the ice cream spots didn’t even have labels for the flavors.

You’d think the manager would have offered a little something for the total sh!t show that was my experience but she didn’t seem to care.

By far the worst location in the area. A few weeks ago, I placed an order on the app and was charged twice for it and the order never actually went through. I get to the store hoping to be assisted in sorting out the error, only for the employee at the counter to tell me there’s nothing at all she can do. Didn’t even apologize. All of the employees I have interacted with here are rude. I tried to give them another chance today, and have been waiting in the drive thru for 30 minutes. I tried to get out and go in the store to pick up my order, and the front door is locked. When I FINALLY got to the window and told the employee she says “Yeah, there’s only a few of us in here working.” Maybe write a note to put on the door? I worked in customer service for years and am super patient always with those in the industry, but I cannot wait for them to open up the new Starbucks on Courthouse Rd so I never have to deal with this...
