Mi Tierra Taco & Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

I’ve always loved this restaurant’s food, and my mom and I used to go every Tuesday for the taco specials. However, after my recent experience, I will no longer be supporting this business.

The owner was incredibly rude to me, even after I spent double the usual amount on my meal the day after Christmas. I was already having a tough day, and the way I was treated by the staff made it even worse. Over a simple misunderstanding with uber eats. The owner made it seem as if u were trying to scam them. Ive eaten here numerous times visiting and ordering through uber eats. This is the second incident . I spent a hour on the phone with uber eats because they cancelled my $50 order. So I had to spend $20 to uber and pick up my food. To make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered that my food had been deliberately ruined—I was given old, moldy radishes. It’s very nasty to treat anyone this way because you do not know what they are going through after a terrible exhausting morning all I wanted was a good meal.

This Spanish restaurant is a hidden gem that never disappoints! From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an incredible dining experience. The place is spotless, and the attention to detail in both the decor and cleanliness is truly impressive.

The food? Absolutely delicious and 100% authentic! Every dish bursts with fresh, vibrant flavors, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. I eat here at least once a week, and I’ve never had a bad experience—consistency is clearly a top priority.

We were in the mood for birria tacos and Mi Tierra came to mind. We’ve only ever ordered from them through DoorDash but the food always arrives soggy, so we decided to dine in and try them fresh. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised with how open and bright the restaurant was. It looked so clean and had a very inviting aesthetic. The birria tacos were definitely better now that I was able to have them straight from kitchen to table. The tortilla was perfectly crunchy, a likable about of cheese, and the right about of cilantro/onion ratio. The consume was also delicious and I loved their queso. I tried to order flan for dessert but they were unfortunately out of it that day… I’m looking forward to trying it next time when we go back.
