Dunkin' — Restaurant in Virginia

I just would like to share that I come to Dunkin pretty much everyday with maybe missing one day and sometimes twice a day and for about 4 years. I have never encountered the rudeness that I have been experiencing lately from one lady that greets you in the drive thru to take your order. And as it has it I have encountered her pretty much every morning. She never says good morning or anything…” WE DONT HAVE DONUTS” “WHAT CAN I GET FOR YOU” that’s it and as I precede to order she then says “PULL AROUND” that’s it. No thank you no nothing and funny you never see her at the window, I guess for obvious reasons. Today I went there and ordered my coffee, encountered her rudeness, pulled up to get my coffee and left and went to drink my drink and it was so awful that had to throw it again as I didn’t have time to go back as I had to be at work. I always get the caramel crazed iced latte and I even checked the sticker to make sure that is what I ordered, and it was. It tasted like someone had put coffee in that was old as dirt with a smidge of milk and whip cream, which is not my drink. So, I am not one to complain but after multiple times and spending the amount of money I do there for what I always thought was so good, I now think it’s time to take my business elsewhere. I just wanted to bring this to the attention of whoever and for anyone else who has wasted their money on a lady that hates her job and is rude...

Did a mobile order for a large coffee with additional pumps of unsweetened sweetener since I knew a large coffee would need additional unsweetened sweetener. When I tried my coffee, it basically was just plain coffee. I called the store to let them know they did not put in any sweetener and she replied that she put one pump in as that what she said I ordered. I checked my order and it did say 5 pumps and she continued to debate with me. I finally told her I was not going to debate with her and so she basically said "fine, I'm not debating either, have a nice day and hung up"! Yep, I can certainly see why DD went under before and I see it happening again. For the same price you can go to Starbucks or any other place and get what you ordered and better service.

Oh and also, I got a French cruller and it was awful! It was seriously bland and stale. Never again! If wasn't for a gift card given to me, I would have never gone there in the first place! If I ever receive a gift card, I will try to sell it for 1/2 price or give it to the needy!

I work in food service so I feel confident in saying that it’s really not that hard to be nice to people, even when they’re difficult and you’re having a bad day. The guy that served me was incredibly rude and dismissive. I ordered one (1) donut and a macchiato and they took forever to come out. when they did the coffee was wrong and my donut was so stale that it actually crunched a little bit when i bit into it. Despite that I just took the food because my sugar was super low and I needed sustenance before I literally passed out at the wheel. I’m not one to complain about little things and I know how difficult people can be. Honestly I wouldn’t even be writing this review if the guy who made the coffee and took my payment wasn’t so rude. I’m not exactly the “karen” archetype, I’ve never actually written a review before, and maybe this is my hanger speaking but I waited in a drive thru for 10 minutes with the lowest blood sugar I’ve had in a long time just to get a crusty donut and the wrong coffee.
