Genova's Pizza Station — Restaurant in Virginia

Pizza was good, service was poor. We waited an hour for our dine-in pizza even though it wasn't that busy. They staff seemed very confused and most of the patrons, whether dine-in or take-out, seemed to be waiting for a long time. I understand that they haven't been open for that long and I would have given them a pass, except that there was no apology and little politeness from the folks working the cash register and they pretended they hadn't lost our ticket when it was obvious that they had (saw with my own eyes).

One of our neighbors happened to be there the same night, and experienced the folks working the cash register as rude.

Actually one of the young ladies was nice (she was confused, but I'm pretty sure it was her first day on the job), it was the lead young lady that didn't demonstrate even basic customer service skills. I'm sure everyone there is trying and are of good character, it's just that on this night it definitely wasn't a good experience.

Still, I'd give the place another chance in a month or so. The pizza wasn't necessarily better than other local options, but it was good and it would be a decent change of pace every now and then. And there are plenty of other options on the menu that might...

I have been a high paying customer and a regular. Apparently they don’t like any positive criticism or any critique when it comes to making their food. When someone orders food and it’s not done to their liking The right thing to do is to reach out to the establishment and to let them know this is how businesses learn from their mistakes and how they become better businesses, but in this situation, I was turned away and now I am not able to order from them. How does this make sense? Is this legal? No it is not legal. I can no longer order from this establishment because all I did was say that my products were not made correctly. I think this is terrible business they also lack in proper parking spaces, which I think is a safety issue so for them to turn me away I think it’s totally cruel and and no way how a business should be run. And i bet no one eats here because there is no where for people to park because of how small the parking lot is, why you think everyone does carry out because no one wants to eat here. Their grand opening was on Wednesday and since then I’ve eaten here three times. The first time I got a cheesesteak special and a pepperoni pizza - there was a generous amount of pepperonis and all the ingredients were delicious but it was a tad bit greasy, however, the sub was PHENOMENAL. I came back the next day and got another sub, same kind, and it was just as consistent as the first day. The third time I ate here was today and when I ordered it was pretty packed in the restaurant but I ordered a cheese pizza and another cheesesteak special and I gotta say this pizza redeemed itself with the cheese - it is delicious and the quality of the food was consistent despite it being super busy! And the sub is just as consistent as the first two - cheese melted perfectly, perfect cheese to meat and other ingredient ratio, fresh ingredients, well cooked, and the bread is soooo soft - PHENOMENAL food so far.
