Iâd like to give credit when credit is due and let me just say WOW! I had ordered Glory Days through Uber Eats and it doesnât allow you to make certain edits so I gave the store a call. I ordered the kids Grilled Chicken w/ Mac & Cheese, Nachos, Cheese Fries and a Shark Drink . When I called a really nice girl answered the phone and was super sweet and helpful. I had requested a side of extra sour cream with my Nachos and a side of grilled onions for the cheese fries. She said âsure no problem I can do that for you.â The food arrived in two separate bags, EVERY CONTAINER WAS LABELED! one bag with the chips and cheese fries - bigger boxes, and the other with the nachos, toppings and kids meal. First off let me say the grilled chicken was AHHHMAZING! I have ordered kids grilled chicken before from other places and it always comes with too much seasoning where itâs too spicy, this was actually GRILLED and PERFECT! -almost kept it for myself lol- Already cut up too! Kudos for that seriously! Mac and cheese was amazing! Moving on to the nachos, they had separated everything, queso and chili two separate bowls in one container and the sour cream (2 per requested) in a container, lettuce and tomatoes in another. I LOVE that it was separated! No soggy chips! A lot of places will NOT do that unless you request it. AND the fact they kept the cold and hot items separated THANK YOU!!! You would be surprised how many places DO NOT DO THIS! The cheese fries tasted good, and onions as requested on the side, a good amount too AND two ranches WITH DATES marked on the lids! Kudos to you! Again, not common! All and all I WILL be ordering take out again from Glory Days of Gainesville! Thank you so much for your extra effort and how you do things! It really is the little things that matter that make customers like myself, happy! And other restaurants (I wonât name) should really take notes! ...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to stop by Glory Days for dinner because we wanted a quick bite to eat on the way home. We started off by ordering our drinks and a half order of the macho nachos NO TOMATO. Neither of us are allergic, I just really don't like tomato, hence me ordering our nachos with no tomato. A few minutes later, the nachos are delivered to our table absolutely loaded with tomatoes. We wait for our waitress to come by (the nachos were delivered by another server) and we ask for a new serving of nachos with no tomato. The waitress apologizes and says something to the effect of she forgot to ring the nachos in with no tomato. That's okay, not a problem, stuff happens. She tells us we will get new nachos in just a few minutes. Sure enough, a few minutes later, she brings us a new serving of nachos... except it's not a new serving. It's the plate we sent back with about half of the tomatoes picked off. (I had my husband eat one to make sure they were tomatoes and not bell peppers.) At that point, I just picked around the tomatoes and we ate what we could. I could have picked them off myself if that's what I wanted to do. I sent them back in the first place because I wanted a new order. Again, I'm not allergic, I just don't like them. I realize there's worse things in the world than getting tomatoes on your food, but I shouldn't have to struggle to get my food made the way I ordered it. Lesson learned... we will not be going back to...
Read moreâââââ My visit to Glory Days Restaurant in Gainesville, Virginia, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with incredible warmth, treating us like VIPs as first-time customers. They even surprised us with a complimentary appetizer of warm, perfectly baked pretzels paired with their mouthwatering boneless wings and three signature saucesâGlory Sauce, beer cheese sauce, and another fantastic dip that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. We kicked things off with the mac n cheese bites and buffalo chicken dip, both of which were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The star of the show for me was the Glory Burgerâtopped with a perfectly cooked egg, it was juicy, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best burgers Iâve ever had. The mild boneless wings were a hit, with just the right amount of kick, and the fried fish was crispy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we tried was superb, showcasing the kitchenâs talent and attention to detail. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The team at Glory Days clearly takes pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Whether youâre a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for delicious food, great vibes, and top-notch hospitality. Weâll...
