I didn’t even want to leave a star at this place but in order to explain my experience in google and warn people about the poor customer service here. I have to at least leave 1 star. Yesterday Sunday 9/1/2024 around 8:20pm my husband and I were on our way to a family gathering. So we decided to stop at the Hardee’s/ K gas to get beer. My husband got out of the car to buy a 18 pack of models. When he came back I noticed that he did have the beers with him. He asked me if I had my Id with I said yes. He then explained that the women at the counter couldn’t sell him beer because he had forgotten his Id. My husband usually doesn’t get carded because he is in his mid 40’s and looks his age. He told me that he left the beer on top of the counter. So I went inside to purchase the beer. When I asked a woman for the beer, she proceeded to ask me if I was with a gentleman that didn’t have his ID. I answered yes. Then she said “sorry but now I need to see both ids in order to sell them to you.” i’ve never had that happen to me because usually with one photo ID is sufficient to purchase alcohol or cigarettes . Also there was a sign outside the door stating if you look under 18 they will card you. I felt like this employee did this deliberately to not sell us the beer. I didn’t argue and just walked way very upset for the inconvenience and the waste of time that this employee put me and my husband through. I decided to take the time to write this review as a cautionary tale for people to not stop at this convenience, store/gas station if you are buying anything that requires a photo ID. The best revenge in this case is to boycott. I hope management view this review. I didn’t get the employees name, but I was very specific of the time and date of the incident. Read moreWent inside the restaurant to order take out last night. Walked in and two gentlemen were standing behind the counter talking to each other, they never greeted us or asked if they could help us. We ordered a kids meal, and two 5.99 bag specials. One with a double cheese burger and chili dog and the other with a double cheese burger and spicy chicken sandwich. The order took a long time to prepare and there were no customers in the restaurant and minimal people coming to the drive thru. I asked for all of our fries to have no seasoning and I notice the gentleman that assisted us wiping the French fry scoop with a wipe. I figured he did that to remove the residual salt, but it did not seem like that was proper sanitation practice. My mom tasted her fountain soda and her stomach immediately got upset. Our meals looked and tasted subpar. The burgers were overcooked and extremely hard. The chicken sandwich had old lettuce that resembled cooked spinach dark green and old. The hot dog had 3 slices of burger onion not chopped onions and just looked like it had been fixed hours before. Nothing was fresh not even the French fries I watch them cook. The part of the experience that has me leaving the review is that I have a persistent upset stomach since I ate the food. Read moreI normally don’t do reviews but I had a less than adequate experience here that I felt compelled to share. When I arrived at the establishment, I was the only person in line and I had 3 employees look at me without even acknowledging my presence. After a couple of awkward minutes, a girl took my order and couldn’t be bothered to say thank you of course. I mean that’s almost a given now days. I went to get my drink & the Dr. Pepper came out clear. Ok, stuff happens. I searched the restaurant & found a sort of clean table but there were no napkins. No biggie. Went & got some from another table. Went to the restroom to wash my hands & I was immediately greeted by the overwhelming smell of urine. The bathroom was foul. I wish I’d gone there before I ordered. The grand finale... I’m given a meal that’s not what I ordered but of course the girl that brought it was in the wind, she too without any thank you or other type of pleasantry, before I realized it I sat there for a minute debating on returning the meal to exchange it for what I actually ordered but thought better of it, since I was worried about some angry vindictive employee tampering with my food.
