Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia

this location is horribly run. no manager oversight, horrible service, extremally long wait time to be served at the drive through and long wait time for your food.

I pulled into this locations drive through today at around 11:10 AM. puled up to the place where you order. sat there for almost a minuet and a half before someone said "I'll be right with you. it took an additional 4 minutes for the person to say "welcome to Hardee's, what can I get you?". I ordered a #1 (famous star), No tomato, extra lettuce. the person repeated the order to me correctly and said the total was going to be $9.10.

I pull up to the window paid and got my drink. at this point the person at the window disappeared to the back. there was another employee in the background shuffling back and forth seeming to act busy but not actually doing anything. this went on for another 13 minuets. FINLY my food arrives at the window. after all that waiting all I get is a "here you go"... no "sorry for the wait' no "have a nice/good day", nothing.

I drive off a little peeved but think "ok they just had a rush and they needed to make more food (there were only 4 cars in the parking lot and 1 car ahead of me in the drive through. who BTW, left before I got done ordering.) I reach in the bag for a few fries and find out that the fries are not fully cooked and barly warm (defiantly not within food temp regulations). I pull off the road to check my burger. low and behold.... soggy bun, No lettuce, No onion, dried out and burnt patty and fat glob of mayonnaise haphazardly dolloped in the center.

All in all this trip cost me $9.10, 20+ minutes and a horrible experience. if I could rate this place with no stars, I would. I will never return to this...

The manager and employee were extremely rude when I asked to get a burger I had seen online. They asked me to pull up to the window and the first thing I see is the manager angrily mouthing “WE DON’T HAVE THAT” to the cashier. Context- I was grabbing lunch for myself and a friend, I had to get back at a certain time, and this isn’t a restaurant either of us usually frequent. I was confused and tried to ask them for suggestions for something similar, explaining I really just wanted whatever big kind of burger they normally have, it didn’t really matter that much, but it came off like they were trying to shoo me away for deigning to bother them. “We don’t have that, we don’t even sell those anymore, we haven’t in years” …as if I would know that after it was literally the first thing that showed up in the search bar as a recommendation for the lettuce wrap. There was nobody else in line, so it wasn’t like I was stressing them out. I asked for no sauce besides barbecue, and instead they spread a ton of mayo on both sides of the burger, with no other sauce, which I only realized after I had already driven away. It came off as extremely antagonistic for no reason and clearly, they can’t follow simple directions....

Lord have mercy… Let me tell you about this establishment…. Burgers was still frozen in the middle had to return my order and asked for it to be made fresh…. They did that with no problem but here’s the kicker. The same person who going around collecting TRASH FROM THE TRASH BINS WAS THE SAME PERSON WHO CLEANED UP THE BATHROOM WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES. So he then came back to the counter and started bagging my order without washing his hands or even wearing gloves. I said umm no I do not want that then asked for the manager. She came to the front he then whispered in her ear as I was telling her about the situation. She then says his hands are clean. So I asked her how would she know if she was in the freezer? She had the dumb look upon her face then got mad and said could someone drop fries then walked off with an attitude as if I did something to her. At that point I was no longer hungry! This place just need to shut down. So dirty with wet sticky floors and wet tissue inside of clogged toilets. Not to mention there was homeless people camping out...
