Very nice restaurant with a touch of āhome madeā Peruvian flavor. Itās always good to eat there, the staff are really friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and tastes fresh. I normally go on hours that they serve ālunch specialsā and it comes with soup ( I think there like 2 or 3 options, but I always get the beef soup because itās out of this world !!! ), a soft drink which I never choose, I like to order Peruvian beer, normally cusqueƱa but now they serve Pilsen callao, and then the main dish which has options like: mondonguito a la italiana, aji de gallina, seco de res, Guiso de pollo con pallares, and others. They normally are very accommodating if you request to watch a soccer game, or anything in particular I guess. All the times Iāve been there they gladly help to look for the channel and stream it for you, very cool touch of customer service. The place is clean and well organized, the waiting time to get seated when I go is less than a minute, itās not a big place but they have a couple of tables outside for outdoor seating if weather is nice. The bathroom are always clean and always stocked with the supplies. They have an old school video game there for kids, my kids like to play there when we go. There are 3 flat screen TVās, they are a good size for the place, not too big not too small. They also sell Peruvian empanadas, alfajores, dulce de leche and some goodies like chocolate from Peru or candies. In the front you will see merchandise like Peruvian jersey, very delicious bottles of wine, and Peruvian things to decorate your house. Thereās always parking in front of the restaurant, that is not a problem, always open spaces near the entrance. The cons I would say is the drinks, chicha morada doesnāt really have the natural taste and we donāt really like it, the maracuyĆ” has also a non natural taste that for us is not very of our like. But maybe you might like it, it depend. Overall, is a great place to eat and buy some goodies for the family. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI Travel a lot and always look for my native Peruvian cuisine. This trip I ended up close to patterson, nj aka lil peru. Maybe my taste buds were spoiled all week from the great flavors. On my way back to southern VA, I stopped here due to the reviews and rating. The atmosphere give the total peruvian vibe. It is a smaller location intimate location. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I order a papa rellena and a ceviche. The papa rellena was a hit soft and flavorful. The ceviche de pescado on the other hand was a bit off. The leche de tigre had a weird taste i couldnt pinpoint. The server was so generous to allow me to switch my plate free of charge. I ended up choosing the lomo saltado. It did not crack my top ten but the dish was put together well and it had flavor. This is great place to bring a small family and have a good time. They do have an extensive menu that covers most of the popular peruvian dishes. The staff makes this place a solid 4.5 the food preparation brings the score...

I wanted Peruvian, similiar to a place I discovered in Stafford, but could find any pIace like it. After desparately looking for something decent to eat, I settled for this place.
I chose something simple. I will not be spending $20 or more for a meal anymore not knowing whether or not I will like it as I have done recently and did not like the food. Unfortunately, I was terribly disappointed. The food did not even look appetizing. š
The yuca fries smelled greasy, left grease all over my fingers and taste greasy. Just because something is fried does not mean that it should smell or taste greasy. š³
The Philly chicken sandwich was also very disappointing. Not only was the bread hard from being overcooked, it was burnt, which I did not notice until I turned the sandwich toward me. š I do not understand how you burn...
