I don't often leave reviews, but felt that our crew at the Midlothian Turnpike JJ's deserves a shoutout. We've ordered from them for years (mostly delivery) and have genuinely never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, made to order and quick to arrive. But I'm not here to write about the food today. It's the staff and their amazing service that I really want to highlight.
They know our regular delivery orders well and are always quick to call and double check if we ever make unusual changes or opt for "in store pick up"- that's some great service there. Every time we have spoken with a delivery driver or staff member they have been kind and professional.
Tonight, they went above and beyond. We had ordered our usual delivery and redeemed an offer to get a free brownie. When our order was delivered however, there was no brownie in the bag. No big deal. But our daughter was a little bit sad to see it didn't make it into the bag. Not too long after that, we noticed another bag had been delivered to our porch with not one, but TWO brownies in it. I called the store to thank them and wound up speaking to the staff member who went back and delivered it himself. Just wanted to say thank you for bringing a smile to our kiddo's face and for the continued great service....
Read moreI stopped in to one of my favorite sandwich spots Jimmy Johns in Midlothian to pick up dinner for later and the total came out to be $45.07. At the time I only had cash on me which consisted of big bills unfortunately. The young man (Santiago) that took my order and told me, "we don't take $100.00 bills," and asked me if I had any other form of payment. I said no. He looked at his co workers and told me I needed to get change if I still wanted my order made. I was not aware that they didn't accept big bills and I didn't have a problem going to get change. I left and returned with change and what really got me, was this employee snatched the money and ended up dropping some of the change on the floor. This is not how you treat customers. Also, I had to ask for napkins. I am very disappointed because I have never experienced this type of customer service and I hope I never will again. I am going to take a break from Jimmy John's for a while. I hope he learns emotional intelligence along with customer service and the value of treating people the way you want...
Read moreI came in last week with my daughter. I believe the guy who made our food was named dylan. He was super friendly and answered all our questions with no problems even though we were coming in close to closing time! One of the things we asked about was the jalapeño chips, if they were too spicy? He gave his opinion that they were not too, and it seemed to be very accurate for us! The store was very clean and my daughters sandwich was just the way she ordered it! Thank you for the great experience and her dinner on the run after a night...
