My husband and I received a friendly greeting and we're seated right away. Our waitress, I believe her name was Jessica, greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. I requested no salt on my margarita. It came with salt. The chips were a little thick and overcooked, but the salsa was nice and spicy. A few minutes after ordering I realized I forgot to ask for corn tortillas instead of flour. Jessica said no problem she would let the cooks know. When our food arrived, I got flour tortillas. Understandable I guess since I ordered the corn tortillas later. My husband ordered another beer and Jessica asked if we would like more salsa. We said yes. The beer took over 10 minutes. We never got more salsa. My husband's shrimp tacos were very good. My carnitas were okay. They were a little dry. After we were finished, Jessica took our plates and offered dessert. We said no thank you. She didn't come back again for almost 15 minutes. Without a check. After confirming we were ready to leave, it still took over 15 minutes more to receive the check and pay the bill. It was a frustrating end to our dining experience. I believe most of our issues stemmed from them being shorthanded. Our server seemed to have way too many tables for her to be able to handle. We will try them again in the future to see if their service...
Read moreThis was an impulse stop and a very good decision. The restaurant is beautiful inside. We got there at peak lunch time but basically had the place to ourselves for some reason. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable for the area. My biggest concern is that there aren't any menus physically, it's a QR code that you scan. I know how to do it, I just don't like it. It was pretty apparent we were struggling to order and the waitress didn't ask if we needed assistance or make any recommendations when we asked. Not that big of a deal but annoying in the moment. Fortunately the website is available through the link on Google and we placed our orders and the food arrived pretty quickly and it was delicious! The waitress asked if we needed anything then but didn't come back while we were still eating to refill our drinks. Yes, I'm knit picking which means it was pretty good with a little tweaks could be EXCELLENT. That being said it's definitely a great date night place with a beautiful atmosphere, an inviting bar and a solid meal selection. I will be returning and hope you'll give them a try too. The fajitas Texans were wonderful and the Chile Asada was very memorable...
Read moreHey! So Today I went to the restaurant with my family since we were craving some Mexican food and heard this place recently opened up. It started off really nice, the atmosphere was nice, the service was great and the nacho and guacamole was a great start appetizer. But after we ordered our dish we were disappointed with the results. It smelled really nice and looked appetizing at first but the shrimps and scallops were extremely salty. Now we know most Mexican foods are originally supposed to be a little salty for the flavor but this was a bit much, even I thought it was much and I don't complain much when it comes to food. We also ordered the shrimp and chicken tacos and they were great but the chef added way too much sour creme on some parts and the tortilla seemed a bit cold and undercooked and again the shrimp was extremely salty. We ended up eating all of it since we were hungry but we were definitely disappointed. It definitely put us all in a gloomy mood since we were definitely looking forward to eating here. Anyways I don't think we'd come back here again unless we were craving something salty. Other than that,, bit...
