Title: Fresh, Attentive Service in a Family-Friendly Atmosphere**
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kilroys and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming ambiance set the stage for an enjoyable evening.
One of the first things that struck me was the freshness of the food. It was evident that the ingredients were of high quality and prepared with care. Unlike some places where you can tell the food has been hastily reheated, tasted as if it had been made to order.
The service was another standout aspect of our visit. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. What truly made Kilroys stand out for me, however, was its family-friendly atmosphere. there was a relaxed vibe that made it clear families were more than welcome. This inclusivity is something I always appreciate, as it allows everyone to enjoy a meal together without feeling out of place.
Overall, my experience at Kikroys was nothing short of excellent. With its fresh, flavorful food, attentive service, and family-friendly atmosphere, it's a place I'll definitely be returning to in the future. Whether you're looking for a casual meal with the family or a special night out, I highly recommend giving...
Read moreI actually spent many Wednesday nights at Kilroy’s enjoying the night life and those Bartenders! John, Howie, Rob, and the manager Reggie! It was the early 90’s! Lots of time in the gym and at the bar! I’m now in Los Angeles. I married Brad Pitt, he doesn’t publicize it but I have put it out there! In 1992, when I was a regular hanging out at Kilroy’s a single mother and New York City model, Jon Bon Jovi wrote “In These Arms,” a relationship he had dreamed about with me. He let me know recently he did it. It’s such a beautiful song and was a huge hit for him! Watch the Utube video! Jon did many songs about things happening in my life over the years and his secret fantasy relationship with me. There has been books, movies, songs, inspired by me over the years including “There’s Something About Mary”, and “Fools Gold” and “The Hangover” and which was about my boyfriend Phil and his drinking buddies and the mischief we used to get in while drinking. The story line of that movie is a true event. There were many details revolving around me. And “Oceans 13” which my husband Brad was in. They thought I was going to sue over Oceans so they cut a lot of that movie out on the DVD. Many movies! I work now as a Legal Analyst and Paralegal, at my own Law firm, Pitt Legal LLC. I had great times at Kilroy’s! Lots...
Read moreI have been to Kilroy's many, many times over the last 20 years; it's only a mile-and-a-half from my house. My husband thinks it's the ideal place to grab a burger and a beer for lunch or dinner, and I used to think that, too. However, I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years, and Kilroy's is decidedly NOT a good place for vegetarians. At a standard American-fare restaurant like this, the salads should be fantastic. But at Kilroy's, they are not only boring, they are often really heavy on the iceberg lettuce, and frequently so wet that the dressing can't do its job. Bleah. There is a veggie wrap sandwich, but it is the kind with tasteless vegetables like zucchini (a LOT of zucchini) in it, so skip that dish. I like the onion rings, and almost always get those if I'm there for lunch (nutritious they're not, though). And if I'm there for dinner, I'll get a baked potato and maybe the veggie of the day, if it's not zucchini. It's hard to screw up a baked potato.
On the plus side, carnivores are usually quite happy with the prime rib, burgers, or pork chops. The booths feel very cozy. The service is usually pretty good, too. So when my husband wants to go to Kilroy's, I don't protest (out...
