(This review is for an order placed through Grub Hub)
At the beginning of the pandemic we happened upon this establishment and found the food to be remindful of the seven years we had spent in the Middle East. Eight months later I am writing to express my disappointment in the food and service. Of particular note is the Grape Leaves platter for $11.49. This platter comes with grape leaves, baba ghanouge and Tabbouleh. The platter was not (same situation in previous orders) available in my recent order. I was offered an order of Kibbeh as a substitute. I, thinking that they would provide a portion equal to the grape leaves platter found 2 pieces of kibbeh that normally cost $5.99 as the substitute. In addition, I found their mixed grill platter to be less then appetizing with dry proteins, hard dry rice, and a over abundance of the yoghurt sauce. I would expect an establishment to remove a item off the menu or at least note that it is not available. In the event that that a substitute is offered it should be of the same value as the item being replaced. I advise all new customers to request a refund for items ordered but are not available. I will not continue to patronize this...
Read moreAwesome little Mediterranean place. Service is super friendly and informal. I feel like maybe a kind uncle could have been taking my order and serving me. Can be to go if you wish. They have grab your own Fountain drinks and even though I didn't order baba ganoush we just happened to get a little bowl of it with the complimentary bread alongside our hummus. Bread is pretty much all you care to have, and it usually shows up warm and delicious. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what we did have was pretty good. If you haven't tried the zaatar and cheese you probably should. It's delicious and goes well with hummus if you feel like it. The prices are reasonable compared to most of the other Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurants in the area. But at those establishments I feel like I get more service and a slightly better presentation. You get what you pay for and most of the time I don't want to pay for that, I just rather have the delicious food which this place has. I also don't know if this place serves beer I couldn't find any and...
Read moreLamb was so overcooked it was jerky. There were very few people dining yet half of the empty tablea were filthy. Several employees were waiting for customers so it wasnt as if they were slammed and busy. So go pick up some spray cleaner and clean tables. Tye cash refiater in tge customer side was dirty and dusty.
There is a shelving unit inside front door that sells pottery and things, but it was so dusty it was not appealing at all. I cant imagine the kitchen being clean if they cant bother to keep the customer-facing places clean. We live right down the road and we were hoping this would be our new go-to restaurant for us and foe our visitirs but we will never return.
I have no idea how this place is still in business, its dirty and has overcooked food. There is another kabob place down the road that is super clean and friendly. And their bread doesn't taste like it came out of a bag from the...
