I want to be very clear in my review the food is delicious so I rated this a 5. I would recommend giving the food a go but I want to set you up for success with rest of my ratings.
The atmosphere I provided a 3 because I do think it has potential however it reminds me more of a Pizza Hut (back in the 90s when you would think it was fancy) rather than a home owned Italian pizza joint.
Finally the service. Phew I gave this a 1 because although the people seem friendly enough, they have 0 understanding for how to manage the business. You will place a pick up or to go order and wait for 30 minutes to even be acknowledged (mind you this is after the “45 minute” wait time), then once acknowledged they will take your payment and you will wait for another 20-30 minutes and hope they don’t lose your ticket (yes I saw this happen). Now let’s say you actually want to dine in; you will wait even longer because they are so under staffed they can’t keep up with the demand, which brings me back to why I gave them a 5 for food.
One last key note, apparently the old owners had a partnership with my apartment complex. I showed my club card here twice and got a discount then when I went back to fight through the crowds (because again the food is delicious) I was told they wouldn’t honor my 10% discount. So after waiting almost an hour and 10 minutes to be seen or helped you couldn’t honor a measly 10% when I was told you would. I was told to “bring the paper back”. I felt like they thought I was lying so now I am taking my time that was worth the $2.00 to explain my review.
So I leave you with this…eat here but understand what you are getting when you go here. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. And if you are wondering how the 3 overall came about well the average of...
Read moreIf i could give zero stars I would VERY DISAPPOINTED. To start I had ordered THREE STROMBOLIS WITH PEPPERONI AND HAM . When I got to the restaurant they told me they had made three calzone’s instead, so I paid and just took them , got all the way home and went to eat them , they were literally soaked in grease and the inside looked like nothing but mush no pepperoni . So I called and addressed the problem and was told to call back the next day because they were busy , so I called back the next day and they told me they would get me a refund . THEY ENDED UP CHARGING MY CARD AGAIN !! They were closed the next two days , so on the FOURTH DAY I finally call back and tell them the problem they say they’re going to refund it they refund one of the charges but not the other. I’m not one to complain at all and I even tried to accept a mistake THEY MADE . This is completely ridiculous . I highly wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to deal with these...
Read moreLentini's is the only Italian restaurant I will go to now. A few months back, I worked late and was running around doing errands after work. I knew I needed to feed my kids so I figured pizza was the way to go. I stopped at another Italian place where they told me they were closing, so I moved onto the next. That place was closing at 9 and it was only 8:35. They still refused to make or sell me a pizza. Next in line was lentini's, by time I got there it was close to 8:50 so I knew I was betting against odds. I ran in and told them I'd buy old pizza from them, as long as I could take something home to feed my kids. These wonderful people refused to allow me to do that. They closed their restaurant, let me sit inside, and made me a fresh, large pizza AND garlic knots to take home to my kids. They are the ONLY Italian restaurant that has my business now and I tell everyone about them and how...
