For the second time today, McDonaldās has disappointed me. I guess thatās my fault, but Iāve been craving breakfast burritos all day! Although this particular location managed to give me what I asked for without issues (2 burritos with extra cheese), their customer service was worse than the location I visited this morning. While in line at the drive thru, I noticed the car in front of me, at the food window, turned off their engine. Shortly after, the drive thru rep stuck her head out the window and said something to the driver. Then the driver started the car and drove around the building. As I approached the window all I hear is the young lady talking to another coworker about how stupid the person in the other car was. She went on to laugh and say āwhy would she actually park her carā to her friend. She eventually turned to me and said ācan you park itā? I asked her for clarification and she said āaround the buildingā. Then I asked for further clarification about where I needed to be to get my food. She said, āin the spot at the entranceā. You can imagine my frustration as I pulled my car around realizing this was the same unclear directions given to the car in front me. Of course the person was confused! As I pulled around, at the entrance, I see two sets of spots that are marked with signs that include numbers. They were mobile pick up and drive thru waiting spots. I made my way to a drive thru spot. I noticed the first car, backing up and moving from the mobile spots to a drive thru spot after seeing me park there. Five minutes later a manager came out. She asked what food we were waiting for. The lady before me had been waking for over 20 minutes for nuggets for her kid. I told the manager I had only been there a short time and I shared what I had ordered. Since the manager was there, I also shared my experience with her drive thru staff. She was very disappointed in their behavior and confirmed that they shouldāve been clear about where to park and which space number. Hopefully she will give them the feedback. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAvoid like the plague on Sundays. After they closed for a few weeks to add their McCafe counter, most of their veteran staff left got another location. Ever since then, the service has been abysmal, especially on Sundays when their teenage boys are working. They could care less about what they're doing; they don't know how to make a half-decaf coffee, requiring me to buy one decaf and one regular so that I could do it myself at home (the guy thanked me for making his job easier). On another occasion, I was told they were out of decaf and didn't know when they would be making more because he didn't want to go check.
I know this is just a job at McDonald's and not where they plan to work the rest of their lives, but when I was his age working at a grocery I still took pride in my work. This McDonald's needs to shape up or I'll take the extra time every day to follow their good staff to Old Keene Mill.
UPDATED 10/12/2018 I said they needed to shape up....they only got worse! I can't remember the last time it took me less than 10 minutes to get through the drive thru! This morning there 6 cars in front of me and it took me at 940 when I pulled up. At 955 I finally got my order! When I went to pay with my card, the lady didn't know how to use it! And from what I could hear, it sounded like they messed up the order of the guy ahead of me really bad. The line when I left was at least 10 cars long
I've been going to this McDonald's for 16 years. The food is normally pretty good (for McDonald's) but with this kind of service where they take 2-3 minutes for each car, I don't see how I can continue going here. Manager named Karen Olivia was very rude. Treated me like Iām a ghost. Finally I got upset and complained then she said she doesnāt care. And even told me itās not my business that she doesnāt have customer service. I said I do because Iām payed customer then same answer, she doesnāt care. I told her I want to talked to her boss. She gave me her bossās name and said she wonāt be in any trouble. I told her I will record our conversation to show her boss. Then she stopped talking and ignored me again. I guess that McDonald really donāt care their customers. She even wrote down on refund paper that reason of refund is because I told her she ignored me. Then she said her boss will call me.
