McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

I've been to this location a half dozen times previous, and generally have decent service (well... At least things are normally more or less correct. Condiments tend to often be incorrect). But this time was a katastrophe. 2am fam asks me to drive there to get them food and get food in return. OK sure free food. Drive ten minutes there. Order lots of food, and lots of sweet and sour sauce. I love that sweet and sour sauce. Wait 8 minutes for food after order is complete at the window. Line of cars develops behind me. Get a couple bags. Milkshake machine has magically "turned off" for the night after I ordered, aka someone is cleaning it. Am offered frapes instead... Sure why not. Somehow end up one frape short. Was asked to drive around. Drove around. Wew frape finally there. After waiting in line, I am told they have no more food for me. I ask if they are absolutely sure, seeing as I drove around and was pretty sure there was more food in the order which I was still waiting for. Am told I am good. Lots of food, can't be bothered to check it all. Drive home 10 minutes. Missing 40 nuggets, a sandwich, and fries, and of course the sweet and sour sauce. Call and inform manager of mistake and drive back. Wait at window for more than two minutes after driving ten minutes back. Call store again since nobody is at window. Speak with manager again. She says she will give 40 extra nuggets and an extra sandwich, plus a single meal in the future some time. Alright... Could be worse I suppose. Only end up with ten extra nuggets. Am still missing a large fry. Wait... Wait... Wait some more... Am asked to pull around again. Am incredulous. Pull around again. Nobody at window... No joke. Guy greets me a minute or so later, asks what I need. Am flabbergasted. Wait for them to get large fry, nobody knows about the rest of the nuggets and sandwich promised over the phone. It is 3am now, so I decide to leave instead of pulling around again or waiting for them to mess up another order. I get home and am missing all sweet and sour sauce. RiP.

I have to admit I am a little frustrated that what should have been a 25 minute round trip turned into an hour. I am still a little astounded they made me pull around a second time after returning at 3am. And that what I was told over the phone I was getting wasn't communicated to the employees.

To be honest, I did not care so much what they gave me extra after coming back, and I still have an apparent other meal in the next couple days there, but it astounds me that even the second time I came back, the things promised weren't provided, I was asked to pull around yet again, and for a second time sat at the window and nobody noticed I was there.

Look, I understand that mistakes happen. But this was a little above and beyond the normal. To her credit, Amber the manager seemed to handle things pretty well, offering to make things right however was necesarry. But unfortunately, what she offered over the phone must not have been very well communicated to the employees, and wasn't upheld. We shall see when I come back in a couple days if they have any record of the free meal they promised at least.

I post this more out of sheer incredulity, than anything else. I suppose that is what you get when you visit...

So I wanted to try the chicken Big Mac and needless to say of course the food was not hot or warm the cheese on it. I'm not sure if it was cheese but it basically was a mick gangbang with a extra Patty of chicken and I can understand if it was like the chicken Patty from like their big crispy chicken sandwich. You know not the baby one. You know the one not the one the patties from Costco or BJ's but this was garbage. All the hype about it. I think those people got a paycheck hyping it up. I would rather just have my money back. I didn't even get the meal. I just went ahead and got the sandwich. And you know the sandwich is a good gallon of gas for your car but I just wouldn't do it again and this one was kind of just like the drive-thru look like how the elementary school looks when parents are dropping kids off. So I I just went inside but yeah no I wouldn't. I wouldn't do it again. And for any of you all who are interested just get yourself a McDouble. This big Mack crap was garbage. I wasn't satisfied with the temperature of the food. The taste. I didn't even know what the hell I was eating. All I knew is I got like shredded lettuce thousand Island sauce, three pieces of bread. What looked like cheese and two McChicken patties? So yeah or anybody else? Good luck. I'd probably have it there at the place while you know. Eat it there at the McDonald's and if it's not hitting then just like give it back to them and let them know that it's not even warm. But for me to see cheese melted you would think that it's got some sort of temperature and when it doesn't it lets me know that that bad boy had been sitting there for a minute. Joe, let's start really thinking about that before we bite into something that just looks so processed. Aunt, let's stop caring about other people's reactions because to be honest with you, I only went after it because I saw the ad. You know it's like I mentioned McDonald's in my car and all of a sudden my phone. You know my smart TVs everything's like advertising, McDonald's chicken, Big Mac limited time only. I mean honestly that it was straight garbage and we've been doing this for the longest. This ain't nothing new but anyhow I just wanted to share my thoughts. I wish I would have took pictures of it. Did I eat it all? Yes I did because I paid for it and I wish I would have just put it in my gas tank. But anyhow till next time and it won't...

Zero stars. Every time I go here my order is wrong. Very frustrating with a toddler. They put stale fries in the happy meals knowing us parents won’t notice and neither do the kids.I ordered one for myself one day which was wrong and stale. Ordered 6 tenders and received 4 and one that looked like a Chick-fil-A nugget and no sauce even though there’s holes in the box that say “put sauce here”. Several times the drive through people are goofing off so much and laughing and leaving their mics on so I hear everything they say and I wait until they notice me. I know that someone lost their virginity in the back of a truck during a thunderstorm while high. I called headquarters after having the 100th meal wrong because I have had enough and they mailed me a free happy meal card🤷🏻‍♀️. The general manager contacted me and said come on by I’ll take care of you. I told him that I have to go through the drive through and after giving me his personal number I called and texted him that we were on our way and he responded with “yes I’m here come on through”. Went through the drive through and told the people there that the general manager would compensate the order. They brought a manager to the window who with an attitude said “what?! He said give you a free 4 piece nugget!” So I told him he was rude and he said “so” and I drove off and called the GM on his personal number. He answered and said no that was wrong come back. I pulled into a Mobile order space and he approached to take our order. The same thing I ordered in the drive through. He proceeded to tell me didn’t have some of the things I wanted but they had it when I just went in the drive through 5 mins ago...? I will NEVER come back here. EVER! It wasn’t like this a year ago. New careless management is absolutely incompetent, confusing and rude! I’m done! I will go to Garrisonville location. Thanks for the happy meal card which I will use...
