Only reason i’m leaving 1 star is because the food wasn’t bad but the service alone is reason while i’ll never go back to that BWW again… I seriously recommend they do some warmth/communication training with their staff. My grandparents, brother, and I just drove from dc to go eat after they flew in to visit and had been in the airport all day. The waitress’s (hannah) attitude was the start of our issues with this particular experience. She seemed to be very bothered when my immigrant/older grandparents had questions about the menu as they’ve never been to bww and she answered with rude rhetorics basically telling them to just hurry up and pick one. She was selectively ignorant of her menu knowledge and seemingly in a rush when there was only a few other tables in the restaurant whom were not her tables. Mind you it’s about 10pm they close at 2am.. On top of that my brother didn’t like his wings as he wanted to try a new flavor and with 1 bite knew he wanted no more,, so we asked about 15 mins later when she finally came back that he would like to actually get what he normally does and let her know he wanted to send them back and get a different flavor. Obviously annoyed, only response was “i’ll ask my manager” through pursed lips, as if to imply she didn’t want to have them remade for free for us and subsequently also billed us for both on our receipt still. When she brought out the wings she dropped them with a clank on the edge of our table and without saying anything she rolled her eyes and walked away. I then had to wait another 15 mins before she came back into view. After a while later she gave us the bill and we waited a while for her to apply the military discount and after I flagged her down again to have her fix the receipt since she still charged us for both wings and needed to get a refund from the manager. We never spoke to the manager, nor did she offer us to speak to a manager or him/her come to the table. They really let me down and what disappointed me as well is that I use to work there so I know the standards have significantly dropped if that’s the quality of service they are providing on a slow Saturday night. The manager only came to the table with the server when she brought the fixed check out at the very end after I had to ask another server to grab the manager because I didn’t know where my server had gone for so long and I didn’t want to embarrass her or make a scene since we could finally leave after a very unsuccessful first outing...
Read moreThis was absolutely the WORST BWW service we have ever had. EVER. We eat at a lot of BWWs, many times a month. Our waitress at this BWW was rude and inattentive. We were seated and after a few minutes she came over, did not greet us or anything and asked what drinks we wanted. Then she disappeared. For 15 minutes. When she did return, she plopped our drinks down and turned to walk away. We asked if we could please order and she said, "oh....yeah, okay". The first drink was so slow in coming we ordered a second with our food order. Our waitress did not bring waters, silverware or napkins. The kitchen staff delivered our food and we had to ask her if we could get silverware and napkins. Our second drinks never came so we went to the front counter and asked staff there since we were eating spicy food and had been another 15 minutes with nothing to drink. Someone brought the drinks. We were noy done eating and actually were going to order something else when our waitress breezes by the table and throws our receipt on it with a pen. She didn't ask how the food was, if we needed anything, or even if we were done. She made no attempt to clear glasses or anything from the table. We had to ask a different staff for one more drink. We were using points for our appetizer, so wrote our number on the receipt. The waitress came by and took it without a word. Then brought back a new receipt. We stopped her and stayed we were using points and she said she put our number in and showed my name on the receipt. We had to repeat that we were using points. She acted all irritated and walked away. Twn minutes later we had no receipt and were about to ask for a manager when she finally returned and slapped the receipt down. We were not rude to her or anything. She was just the worst waitress. Needless to say, we left no tip at all because she didn't even do her job. And we left her a note telling her exactly why she didn't get a tip on the back of the receipt. Just absolutely the worst experience. We left hungry and would have had another drink or two if our waitress had even bothered to ask of we wanted anything else. Needless to say, we went elsewhere to...
Read moreSept 9 10pm white lady bartending was utterly disrespectful. I’m a frequent guest for pick up orders never had an issue once. Tonight I was told by front Hispanic lady to go to the bar for pickup orders. Once I got there the white lady bartender was very friendly may I say so ditzy and giggly to the white men she was attending. When I politely excused myself to get her assistance for my pickup order she began to yell at me in front of the other guests “what do you want, what even is your name, what did you even order!”. I was so in shock that me asking for help went from 0-100 in less than a minute. I felt so uncomfortable I didn’t even know how to respond or react to such behavior from this bartender , it genuinely felt as if I was being treated badly because of my ethnicity. I literally had to walk away to my car to gather my tears & composure. Fortunately, I came back and spoke to the front Hispanic lady and told her what the bartender did. I will be seeking corporate assistance over such behavior because it’s so bizarre and disgusting someone would treat anyone like that nor should it happen again. Sadly, will not be buying from here again after such incompetence of a bartender. Hope Management can correct such behavior in hopes that white lady/bartender can learn how to speak to others despite if they’re poc… it’s insane she can be giddying all over her white men guests but does a 360 to a...
