Left a local Chipotle after their complete lack of interest in assisting my family of 6 with ordering our dinners (this was a big deal as we'd at least struggled o.r way with them long enough to have had 3 of the kid's meals made before we gave up in mid-order and walked out - a 1st for my family). 10 mins later we stood in front of the line cook at Moe's.
Here, we experienced a bright and cheery environment as opposed to Chipotle's shadowy interior and decor.
The staff and the menu were the big relief.
This Moes seems to hire and well-train excellent workers! They are attentive, pleasant, up beat and patient. Each one seemed committed to a good experience for my crazy busy family of 6 (kids= 2, 3, 5, & 7 yrs old).
They offered small meat samples to help us make decisions, and suggested toppings/ sauces for items when appropriate. This, along with a menu with some details on it (unlike Chipotle) was extraordinarily helpful with making many decisions about 6 diners while keeping our parental heads on a swivel (Chipotle employees just started at us, bored and heavy lidded as if a busy, young family was a societal burden).
It was quite the contrast in counter order experiences within 10 minutes time.
The food is good, and consistently so - which is of utmost importance too.
The kids love Moe's "secret" animated wall art as well - this adds a "Disneyesque" specialness quality for them each visit. They get sad if "our table", under one of these pictures is taken when we arrive.
But ... then they get to order toppings on their chosen dish, pick out salas, and "make pop" and it's all smiles again.
Great family...
Read moreThis is like any other Moe's. It's the same burritos and tacos that you will find at all the others with the build it your way approach. The food is very similar to Qdoba and Chipotle, if you have never had it.
The staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. Its a decent place to get lunch. The food itself is a little bland and messy, but its edible.
The parking lot is usually pretty wide open around lunch time. I've never been here for dinner but I suspect it's the same.
The entrance is easy to get in and out of, but if you want to turn left onto Midlothian leaving, you will have to go back around the shopping center and use the street running in front of the abandoned grocery store. This is...
Read moreNot happy that this location, and happy not to return. This Moe's is not participating in T-Mobile Tuesday promo and the owner has the right to decline such promotions, sure but at least put signage on your door instead of allowing customers to go through with the ordering process and find our the code is useless at the register. That is unexpected and even embarrassing. Please train your employees not to say "we have a sign on the door" when there is only a sign on the door that says "please use other door". Seriously how much of a negative impact is this $4.50 discount going to have on you daily revenue? None, except losing at least 1...
