Every time I come here is a disaster. Once I came just before closing without realizing. My friends and I drove out of our way after a shift only for them to kick us out. I thought ok it's almost closing time, I get it. It left a bad taste but I worked retail before, I understood (although I never yelled "we're closed" across the room at customers before). But the next time we came well before closing, about half an hour and there was a line. There were 3 people in front of us waiting for their meat to be cooked because they just couldn't be bothered to have it already set out. They didn't want to have to take the time because they wanted to be closed up cleaned and OUT by 9. They try to push you to get something else so they don't have to do their JOBS and cook more food.
Today was the same (food not ready, urging me to pick something else) and it was HOURS before closing. They are lazy. I've been to other Moe's and know what it is supposed to be like and this location is the only one that is such a mess. The staff is just a bunch of kids that couldn't care less.
There was a spill which was made aware to the girl at the counter and I watched as she just let it sit there for 30 minutes until it was half dry and sticky. Eventually she placed a wet floor sign near (not on) it and walked away. When I left the mess was still there.
The trays SMELLED sour and awful. Who knows how filthy the water is or how well they clean off their trays!
They need new staff and new management. I like the food but really don't think I'll...
Read moreI stopped by Moe’s Southwest Grill for dinner on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall right off Route 29 just north of Manassas. The dining room is very small with low ceilings and brown walls. The tables were all set up as tables for two. There was a small bar in the center of the restaurant that had a jukebox and a few stools. There was a very long wall along the right side of the restaurant with a few TVs on it. There was a small patio area outside that has tables, chairs, and a couple of umbrellas with the restaurant name written on them.
Moe’s Southwest Grill is an upscale casual dining restaurant that is famous for its Southwestern cuisine. The restaurant is known for its down-home atmosphere with service that is friendly and genuine. Most of the food is served in a traditional Southwest style. This is done by using a variety of fresh ingredients, making it a meal to remember.
When you think of 'restaurant review' you think of an objective food critic who has eaten at many different restaurants and is able to critique the food on a level playing field. This is not that. We are not food critics. We are full-time employees of a single restaurant chain. We are very biased. We're not going to pretend...
Read moreUsed to like coming here, but recently when visiting my girlfriend and I came here together and had a pretty negative experience because of just one of the male employees (medium/long messy hair, chubby, young guy). When we entered the line he said something extremely rude about us that I won’t repeat, and another employee loudly replied to him “why would you say that?!”, I was shocked and I don’t think my girlfriend heard it, so I just let it slide however I don’t believe people like him should be working in service based jobs dealing with customers if they’re bad natured and rude. That kind of behavior is extremely inappropriate and childish, and makes no sense to be insulting random customers especially who did nothing wrong or even looked at you. After going in another time, saw the same guy and he had the same bad attitude and shooting rude looks. The other employees are great, but this location of the business is being dragged down by a particular...
