Was here about a month ago. Server took 10 minutes to take our drink order at same time she took our food order. Let it pass. My steak sub came it was not warm at all. Kids ordered chicken tenders which never came. I went to front and simply asked how long for chicken tenders to be ready. Manager got rude with me because I asked the delivery driver who doesnt know about food orders. I had no idea what his job was I just asked a question. He said we will make them. I asked why they were not made already with the rest of my order. He proceeded to say we are very busy. Two other tables that were already eating when we came in. He continued his rudeness and we left. Last night we went in with a group of kids from school and the management and staff were upset there was so many of us and we didn't call ahead. (Last time we called ahead they told us they couldn't accomodate us on a Friday night, call ahead or not). We showed up and were met with rudeness. They were not busy and we all fit on one side of restaurant. There was never a line or anyone waiting for a place to sit. Even so, we were ALL paying customers. How do you treat kids and customers like that? We brought them more business than they would have had if we went somewhere else. Now, the food. Yuck!!! The subs were terrible. They went from the best subs to the worst. I could have made a steak-ummm at home. It was worse than the wafer steaks you buy in the store. We also had an Italian sub. The meat was barely there and hardly any of the veggies that come on it. I ordered spaghetti for my daughter and it never came. We paid our bill and got her food elsewhere. One of the kids ordered french fries and kept asking when he could get his fries, he got them as everyone was paying their checks. This was one of our favorite places to eat and now I don't think I want to eat there again. Don't treat your customers like this and go back to the subs you used to serve. Very...
Read moreOn Mother's day my family ordered food from the Dale City location and the delivery driver was inadvertently given $100 more than he should have. The bill was $58 and he was given $168. He didn't say anything and kept the money. The next day we realized the mistake and called to complain but the manager was no help at all. I asked him to have the owner call me but he refused. I have been ordering food from Padrino's for over 20 years and was friends with Nino back in the day. I've always had good experiences with Padrino's before last Sunday. Ultimately the mistake of giving the extra money was our fault but the lack of honesty by Padrino's employee is really upsetting. He should have said something as he had to know that was a mistake. The manager I spoke with on Monday said he had no record of a delivery to our home, which is ridiculous because I confirmed the number we called was correct and the order was 100% from Padrino's. Overall I want to caution everyone who orders delivery to double check the money you give to the driver, because they will not be honest if you accidentally give...
Read moreBest Pizza in town, period.
Just unbeatable pizza. I've only dined in a few times, and from what I've experienced it was enjoyable, but the real deal here is the pizza. They have subs and chicken and pasta but for the love of god get some of dat pizza. They don't deliver to my neighborhood unfortunately, but it's worth the drive. Which is saying a lot.
When's the last time you drove to a pizza place to pick it up?
I always get the Spinach and Bacon pizza which is admittedly a weird combo, but the spinach is actually sweet, the bacon is crispy and the cheese it thick and not too saucy and the dough they do a fantastic job. See where most places fall short is their spinach. They put it in and it wilts and burns. Who wants burnt leaves on pizza? Apparently Dominos and Pizza Hut lol.
Really if I had a last meal and I couldn't get crab legs their pizza is a STRONG contender for the last kiss of food I ever give.
Fantastic stuff.
Nothing comes close.
Now if only the delivered to Reston now as I've since moved I would be 800 lbs but fat and happy. Good Job Padrino's, really...
