Pizza Boli's — Restaurant in Virginia

First off, the online ordering system was a breeze to use, but after that everything went down hill. The email that was sent to me for my order confirmation stated it would be ready in 45 minutes. This seemed unusually long, so I called them after 20 minutes to see if my order was ready. After almost 10 minutes on hold and asking questions about my order they finally told me it was ready.

When I arrived, the guy seemed all confused about my online order and after a few minutes brought me my food which was a pizza and mozzarella sticks.

I'm pretty sure my pizza was ready a while before I got there since it was lukewarm, but still tasty. If I would have waited that 45 minutes like the email said, it would have been ice cold. I think they need to look into the online ordering system so people don't get cold food.

Lastly, the mozzarella sticks were absolutely HORRENDOUS! The breading is terrible, which is the most important part. They were also lukewarm.

I think if I ever go back here, I'll call and put an order in through the phone, but as of now I don't think I'll be back again.

Update:

I heard from a regional manager. He was nice and everything and attempted to make things right, but failed doing so after 8+ emails back and forth and being promised coupons and points for free pizza. It was a botched attempt to make things right. In fact, it made me quite annoyed that I definitely won't be going back again. If you are going to try to make things right, please don't make it so it takes 5+ times to do it. It just makes it annoying for the customer.

I live in an area that is dead center to all Pizza Boli's locations, I called the closest location to me which turned out to be alexandria, the problem was that I'm 5.5 miles away from them so they would not deliver to me at all, because of a half mile!!.. and the funny thing is, both me and this location are off of the highway.. so the time between us is only 12 minutes, when I asked "what if I lived 5 miles away but a 15 minute drive" they replied with yes we would deliver if that were the case. What this tells you is that logic and reason isn't a factor at this branch, both the employee and manager didn't really care about customer service, or even just being accommodating for the simple reason that the time needed to deliver was acceptable even though the distance wasn't.. Pizza Boli's has been my go to pizza place at home and work.. I guess because of half a mile.. I'll have to find another pizza joint.. good customer service is a must when spending ur money.. specially when the competition...

Ordered from Pizza Boli's for the first time via Grubhub. Decided on a Veggie Sub (a whole one) which also came with a bag of chips. The driver was Pizza Boli's driver and showed up within 45 minutes. Which was great because Grubhub told me the delivery would take about an hour. They never get the time right even when it is their own driver so I am not surprised. The sub looked nothing like the picture - it looked better in fact. It looked like two subs - I think a whole sub means a 12 inch sub - so they sent me two six inch subs which were also cut to fit into the container. And they were really well made and tasty. Also the bag of chips they sent me seemed to have a lot chips in it. Overall the only nitpick I can think of is the price does seem a tad high for the food. But it was a REALLY good and the sub..subs...were filling so that is really a nitpick and I have to give them five stars. If they were next door to me I would be visiting them a few...
