This might be my fatherās favorite restaurant. We come here fairly often. First of all, I would like to say that I am beyond impressed with the whole chain for the recovery that they have been going through with their new CEO. Itās obvious he knows what heās doing. This particular Red Lobster is clean, comfortable and nicely laid out so you donāt feel like you are so close to other people. Our server was Kaya today, And she did an awesome job! I always get the flounder and usually ask for extra tartar sauce. She went above and beyond and I had plenty! She was very sweet and smiling the entire time and on top of every request, including all of my refills of raspberry tea! My dadās salad was a very good size, the biscuits were brought to the table immediately and very fresh. The fish was great as always, the baked potato was large and plentiful and here lately I have been getting their roasted asparagus, which is really phenomenal. At the end, Kaya asked if I had enjoyed the asparagus and I said I did and she said that she had actually cooked it. Which was a pleasant surprise and she was very proud that I enjoyed it. Really this experience was 10 out of 10 today especially but itās always good. I canāt remember ever having a bad meal here in recent memory. For what you get I think the price point is good as well. Really enjoyed our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the first time in all the years of going to Red Lobster, to see one practically deserted on a Sunday evening. It was disconcerting. We had been by this establishment on Friday and Saturday and the parking lot was full both times. Today there were 4 cars in the parking lot when we arrived at 7 pm Service was very good. However, the quality of some of the food was dismal. I ordered the lobster bisque, which has always been a favorite. This bisque tasted watered down, not creamy at all, and slightly grainy, lumpy. It had very little lobster. It also had lumps of gelatinous material which I suspect was the thickener. We ordered Lobster punch drinks, which we've enjoyed before at other Red Lobsters, both of them were sickeningly sweet, with no taste of spiced rum at all. Our cheddar bay biscuits had no cheese in them and the tops were not buttery and crispy as they've always been. We both ordered the Lobster papperdelle. Which was tasty but a bit heavy handed on the lemon butter. Our server Lexi, was great, exchanging the punches for other drinks. She was attentive and cheerful. Sorry, but for a $110.00 bill the meal execution was just not worth it. We won't be back when we visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI personally went to red lobster on Friday to make reservations and arrangements for a party of 10. I requested and was promised a specific location for our group as we meet weekly at a restaurant and like to be able to talk in a quiet area on the next Wednesday. I telephone and confirmed our reservation and the details that had been agreed. When I arrived, the area of the restaurant we had been promised was filled with people. There were no arrangements made for our group, and it appeared that the staff had done nothing to make an alternative spot arranged. Hurried staff dragged tables together and managed to create a place for us to have our dinner and conversation. Obviously, I am not pleased with the management staff that met with me personally and took my confirming telephone call and yet failed the follow-through on any agreement we have. That is the only negative thing. I have to say the food was tasty and properly priced and the staff that waited on us was very attentive. I guess Iām saying if you want to eat there itās a good deal. If you wanna plan some sort of function there donāt expect...
