I'm staying at the Homewood Suites just across the street and used to come here every week and had a great meal. But the last month an older couple has been working and they mess up my order every time. The first time I ordered my usual, a chicken sandwich with letteuce, tomato, onion, and mayo toasted and a diet coke. It was a couple dollars extra but I thought maybe they've increased the price. When I received my order, it was a toasted tuna sandwich with extra mayo...that was hard to eat, and a cookie. I let that one go, but the next time I go in I order my usual and after scanning my card it just spins and spins and won't print the receipt. The old guy asked me to scan my card again, saying the first one didn't take, so I do. As I'm sitting at the table waiting on the order, I check my credit card and I've been charged twice. I go up to the counter and show the guy and we agree that when I come in next time I won't have to pay for the sandwich. The order was good and sandwich delicious. Anyhow, a few days later I go in and he's forgotten I paid twice last time and charges me for the sandwich and drink. Today was the last straw. I went in, placed my usual order but it only came to $9 and change. When I look, he didn't charge me for the diet coke, so I had to place another order to get the diet coke. I sit down, and my order comes out really quick. I open it and see it's in a different inside wrapper and I think oh crap. It turned out to be the correct sandwich with all the right toppings, but it wasn't heated. I order the same thing every time and when they younger couple was there, they always got it right. I have to think now that the folks working there are messing up my order on purpose. Four visits in a row with problems. That doesn't seem to be an accident. I'm beginning to think they don't want me as a customer, so I'm going to oblidge and walk down the street to the Potbelly Pig from now till I leave in December. When they get it right, the sandwich is really good, but they don't seem to be able to get it...
Read moreI've eaten at Sandwich Republic a handful of times and have always had an awesome experience, and I've also turned the company I work for onto here for the occasional office lunch. Sandwich Republic has been prompt and accurate with all of our large office orders and our employees rave about how delicious their sandwiches and salads are.
Upon picking up my most recent office order I had arrived within the estimated 25-30 minute time frame, but my order wasn't ready. This was completely understandable as I had ordered 11 sandwiches during peak lunch time and was in no rush, but the staff at Sandwich Republic were very generous and gave me a fountain soda and an impressively good chocolate chip cookie. It was a much-appreciated act and just further solidified our loyalty to this restaurant.
About the food, the sandwiches are consistently tasty and they have a range of flavors and combinations that should suit any palate. As of this review I've had the pleasure of enjoying their chicken salad, roast beef, roasted eggplant, and portabello mushroom sandwiches, all of which were delicious. The handmade ciabatta bread they use is phenomenal! Also during your visit, keep an eye out for their assortment of bottled sodas as they have a few novelty and hard-to-find sodas available for purchase.
Overall big fan of this place! If you're looking for a down-to-earth sandwich place far more interesting than your typical chain or usual deli and with an awesome staff to boot, this is the...
Read moreI thought I wrote a Google review about this amazing sandwich shop before, so to the sweet owners I’m So sorry it took me so long. I have known the gentlemen since he owned a previous shop that my kids and I loved. The owners are truly the nicest and kindest people ever. He always remembers my sandwich and how I like it and asks about my mom who has been ill a long time I love coming just to see them. I have never even seen somebody else behind the counter, which says a lot. So besides, the people being awesome, the food is even better. Their sandwiches are absolutely to die for, I do not love focaccia bread, but I actually like theirs a lot. I prefer the roast beef with the wasabi mayo that just makes the sandwich so great. Everything I’ve eaten there has just been fantastic, their cookies are amazing, the pasta salad, and the potato salad is so good and they have an amazing drink selection. I by chance tried the lobster bisque soup tonight and holy smokes, it was incredible too. You can’t go wrong with anything they offer and I have heard about their Cuban sandwich from so many people but every time I go and I still get my roast beef. Lol. If you’re even thinking about wanting a sandwich, this is the place to go. If I could give them 10 ⭐️’s I absolutely would. Thank you Sandwich Republic for the best...
