I have stayed in many hotels, some of which, I wasn't thrilled with, but never enough to write a bad review. In fact, I don't typically take time to leave any negative reviews. I booked this for the Wyndham name because I have stayed at other Wnydham properties and been pleased with my stay. When we walked in, I did notice a sign that said it was owned by another company but had some kind of affiliation with Wyndham. That wasn't a huge deal to me but it's just something I noticed. Upon entering the room, I used the restroom and immediately noticed it smelled like feces! My daughter then went in and was grossed out and said it stunk! We wondered how the bathroom could smell since no one should have used it in a long time, as checkout is at noon and we didn't check in until after 7pm. Any lingering odor from the past guest should definitely have left by then! We were exhausted and pushed that problem aside but then came the other problems. I always check hotels for bed bugs and thankfully I didn't spot any here, however, when I moved the beds, there were no wheel locks or anything so it was easy to just pull out the entire bed and move it away from the wall. It was so dirty back there! There was a Nerf bullet and some kind of bottle cap, both with dust on them so I know they had been there for quite some time. The dust and debris were clearly visible all around those items too. There was also visible dust on the popcorn ceiling. The AC also didn't seem to work properly. My daughter and I are both always cold but we were hot in the room even though the unit was set on high fan and temp of 66. The only positive thing I can say about our room was the bed was comfortable. The next morning we went out to the complimentary breakfast. The guy at the front desk just looked at us, no greeting or smile or anything. I don't really care about that but I'm just used to hotel staff being friendly. After we ate and went back to our room the sh*t smell was so strong. I don't know much about plumbing but something has to be wrong. The toilet did run through several cycles when it was flushed so maybe it has something to do with that but either way, it...

I booked this hotel- 2 rooms, 4 nights-through hotels.com 3 months in advance of my stay. Received the usual reservation confirmation emails from both hotels.com and the hotel itself. Didn't think twice about it since I have never had any issues with hotels.com in ten years.

Received 2 texts from the hotel the day before my stay confirming it, as well as phone call directly from the hotel the morning of my stay from a very nice customer service person asking me if id like to upgrade my rooms to king. We decided on not upgrading, since I requested connecting rooms and they are only available in double queen. I advised the representative that I would be arriving around 6-7 PM that evening and she said, "great, see you later!"

After driving five hours to Springfield from New York with my child, I arrived at the hotel at 7PM only to be told that my reservation had been canceled. The man at the front desk spoke in single syllables, said there was nothing he could do and no manager that I could speak to. He also said he could not look and see who had called me from the hotel that morning because they don't keep records of customer service interactions or calls regarding reservations. Perhaps most appallingly, he did not offer to see if they had any rooms available for me to stay in!!!!!

The only thing he could manage to accomplish during the exchange was to confirm that the phone number that called me to discuss my longstanding reservation that morning was, in fact, the hotel's phone number.

This hotel left me stranded 5 hours from home alone with my child and didn't even attempt to pretend to care. I was on the phone with hotels.com for an hour in my car in this hotel's parking lot with my hungry and upset child to try to rectify this. And still- this hotel refused to help the hotels.com agent or offer any apology or recompense whatsoever.

The only hotel I could find at the last minute was an hour away. I didn't check in until 10PM. What an absolute nightmare. Be careful booking here. Confirm your reservation multiple times and take down names of who you spoke to and when. And try to check in during management hours in case something...

Horrible experience with this hotel. Staying here on a business trip and asked the front desk on check in whether there was a dog fee. I was told there was not so I drove all the way home to get my dog and returned the following morning. The lady at the desk stopped me when I got back asking if I had registered the dog to which I let her know I had informed the gentlemen who was there earlier. She then had me sign a form regarding my stay saying there was a $50 per stay fee but ensured me I would not be charged anything for the pet. The following day they charged me a $175 fee without any explanation or warning. I called to speak with the front desk and got hung up on twice. I then spoke with a lady at the front desk when I returned who told me the $175 had been removed and I was only charged $25 for incidentals. Then the next day I was charged another $25 again without warning or explanation, bringing the total unauthorized charges to $225. When I went to confront them again I finally got to talk to a manager who quickly became angry at me and started yelling at me saying they were fully planning to charge me the $225 regardless of the fact that they said it would not be charged. I then took a brief video of the form with the description of the charge and the manager I had talked to to prove who I had spoken to and he immediately followed me around the desk threatening my safety, only stopping his pursuit when he saw me calling 911. A formal police report has been filed and a formal complaint to wyndham and BBB are soon to follow. On top of all this the room is in poor condition with mold, mildew, water damage and a persistent musty smell.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If I could give negative 5 stars I would. You’re better off booking elsewhere to begin with, if you try to get a refund they won’t answer their phones. We booked here because it was conveniently located near the cruise port since we arrived the night before. We were at the property no more than 30 minutes, before we decided to leave. It was 1am but we were willing to go anywhere else they had an availability. They assigned us to the 3rd floor, we had two large luggages and the elevator was out of service. We got to the room and it was warm and muggy upon entering. We always check the beds and both beds had issues. One bed had dead bed bug casings and the other had blood and other various stains. We couldn’t even call the front desk because there was no plug in the phone. We lugged our luggage down 3 flights of stairs and he assigned us another room. We brought our luggage back up 3 flights of stairs, just to be given another warm and muggy room. Both times we kept our luggage outside and thank goodness we did. After seeing the dirty bathroom I turned and saw a roach on the TV stand!! We got the heck out of there and told the front desk that we will not be staying due to the filth and uninhabitable standards. When disputing with Expedia, I was told they could not get in contact with the hotel staff and therefore could not give me a refund. Expedia offered a credit worth 30% of what I paid, which is a complete joke. Do not be fooled by the name like I was, do not waste your time and find somewhere else to stay.

Awful awful awful.. First off the room was extremely cold and wet with mold on the walls everywhere Second the pillows and sheets were so thin and small it honestly felt like nothing. Zero cleaning standards, no hand sanitizer in rooms and clumps of hair left on my room floor when I checked in. This is quite possibly the worst hotel experience ive ever had. The walls were falling apart at the seams and the roof leaking. Edit: Since this review is getting seen more and more I feel like I need to come back to it with my other experience while staying here. While outside waiting for my Uber Eats delivery there was someone on some sort of drug running around in their underwear in the parking lot rubbing and jumping on cars, and eventually running over to the parking lot across the street, this wasn't my problem because I say live and let live it's not my problem as long as they don't bother me, my problem is the owner/manager of this hotel came out and started yelling at me for supposedly associating with said person and yelling that the cops were coming, I meanwhile just wanted my food however now I had to deal with the owner and cops for the next hour showing them that I was just staying there and travelling from Canada (That stay didn't last long to say the least I found somewhere else after the first night but was never refunded the other nights).
