Shaky beef here is pretty tasty with a little tangy sourness to it. It's cubes of steak sauteed with onions and garlic and served on a bed of watercress and garnished with two slices of tomatoes. It is pretty tasty. It comes with a bowl of rice. This plate is order number 99 which can be eaten family style. The other shaky beef can come with fried rice that is order #43. Order number #101 Is the pan fried noodle with any variations of protein. It is a combination of sauteed vegetables with the protein in a sauce and served on top of the pan fried noodles. This was a very tasty plate as well.
The pan fried crepe with shrimp comes with lettuce wrap and on a very large platter. But once you start eating it it is doable for one person to finish. The taste is good, the lettuce that comes with it is very fresh.
The thin vermicelli with grilled pork skewer also comes served with a lot of lettuce and basil as well as meant for wrapping. This is also delicious.
The rice bistro Brothers combination platter is quite big with quite a variety of protein and a quiche on the plate it is pretty good.
Pho here was just okay. Nothing spectacular. The meat seems a little bit overdone and flavor of the pho was just mediocre. I suggest trying other menu items.
We can't wait to try other menu items as their menu is quite big. This is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants we have been to in Nova....
Read morePlace is dirty. Server threw the menu at the table and didn’t say anything. The servers walk around looking angry and mad. They also look unkempt and dirty. Two younger Asian men. The floors looked dirty. The one kitchen door was left open and you could see how dirty the inside of the kitchen was. Stacks of dirty plastic buckets. A pair of dirty old black shoes sitting on the floor next to the door. Complete disorganization. It was hard to finish my meal after seeing this… but wait there’s more. One of the servers was sitting in the corner table cutting vegetables using his bare hands. No gloves. Never washed his hands. He was using a mandolin to slice the veggies. He would take a break to pick at the pimples on his face for several minutes and look at his phone. He did this a few times. I told my husband so we both were watching him do this. He would finish picking and popping his pimples then go back to slicing up the veggies. He dropped a jalapeño on the dirty floor then grabbed it and placed it back in the pile to be sliced. This was in front of all the customers. Imagine what they do in the kitchen behind closed doors. One of the owners or cooks came out of the kitchen wearing flip flops. I thought flip flops were not appropriate for wearing in a kitchen. Gross. Anyhow, I didn’t finish my food and we paid and left. Never coming...
Read more3.5/5 We were craving pho and were in the area running errands so we came by to visit Pho Hong Anh, but saw Brothers Bistro in its place!
We entered and the interior is more modern and "hip" than before. It was a seat yourself kind of deal and then a waiter/waitress will come to take your order. We came around 1:45-2:00 and it was pretty full.
We ordered the 19. Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt (a rice dish), 46. Phở Tái Chín, and 54. Bún chả giò (a vermicelli dish).
It took a bit of time for us to get out dishes and surprisingly, the pho was the last one to come out. The meat had come out fully cooked.
The pho was really good! I don't know if I would order the number 19 again but I think that's more of a personal preference thing.
Service was not exquisite. But not bad either. We paid upfront, later found out we were charged for a coke when we didn't order one. They were able to make it right though and apologized.
I don't know if I'd drive out of the way to come here, but would order the pho again. It is a bit pricey but what...
